  12. bit of a quick update, i have been busy sorting out alot of stupid niggles which i won't bore you all with but i have recently had the car in the bodyshop. reasons for that were i noticed the dreaded rear arch rust and a couple of bubbles at the top of the windscreen. these have all been sorted with both rear quarters repainted and new seals fitted in the arches. i am really happy with the results and will get some pics up when the weather clears. big thanks to marko72 for recommending GM bodyshop in Greenock
  13. something i have noticed that is worrying me, at speeds of around 70mph the steering becomes quite shakey. the car has had a recent 4 wheel alignment check and had a cv gaiter done at the same time which says to me the guys who done the alignment check also gave the rest of the car a check underneath. anyone had the same issue or heard of it?
  14. got back from malta the other day and picked the car up earlier today, done around 20 miles today and can honestly say i haven't noticed any difference. will try some changes and post any improvements
  15. will give a few setups a bash and see how it performs, was previously 32 all round and felt great in the bends. steering was a tad heavy at stand still and a little shakey at 70-80 currently 33 front and 27 rear and nothing to report as yet but only changed them last night and discovered i may have a slow puncture, standby for more updates. off to malta 2moz tho so could be a few days
  16. thanks for that, some useful info there
  17. delicious!!! love that rear spoiler, anyone know if one would fit a classic?
  18. Hi all, Was checking my tire pressures earlier today but wasn't sure what they should be at so I checked the plate on the inside of the drivers door frame by the lock, however the pressures I was looking for were handly removed I checked my handbook and found they should be at 33 psi on the front and 27 psi on the rear but this refers to 16" wheels and I have 18" wheels. They came fitted from the factory and are not aftermarket, they are the Prodrive OZ's. Tire size is 225/40 R18. Anyone know what pressures they should be at? Cheers
  19. clay bar and something like scrath x will do the trick
