  9. bit of a quick update, i have been busy sorting out alot of stupid niggles which i won't bore you all with but i have recently had the car in the bodyshop. reasons for that were i noticed the dreaded rear arch rust and a couple of bubbles at the top of the windscreen. these have all been sorted with both rear quarters repainted and new seals fitted in the arches. i am really happy with the results and will get some pics up when the weather clears. big thanks to marko72 for recommending GM bodyshop in Greenock

  15. very nice looking bug there, out of interest who did you get to do the painting on your sills and bumpers? looking to get some cosmetic work done myself

  19. classic will always be the original and best however i do like the look of a well done hawkeye
  20. I have the same problem, thought maybe just a clean up with a wire brush and some copper grease might solve it but haven't tried it as yet
