need a courier company to pick an engine block up from birmingham and deliver to airdrie , who do you guys use , i know a few of you use courier companies on a regular basis thanks in advance for suggestions .

I always book through interparcel.com and always use TNT, all good so far!

Try interparcel.com , and for heavy items use the interparcel economy option. It's actually UPS on a 48hr service and is always tops.

I use Paisley Frieght for engines/gearboxes - no problems and quite cheep.

Anyone know the rough cost through Paisley freight to courier a 5 speed box, do they provide the pallett

Air freight through us would be about 200 quid

Road frieght though companies like Paisley freight, which are indeed brokers like transglobal, interparcel and the like would be about 50 - 70 quid at a guesstimate
