johnnyr6 Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 If i keep my car i was thinking about getting it painted. What's your opinion on.. Car: STi alloy gold Wheels: wr blue anyone able to photoshop a classic in these colours??
StewartyBoy Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 I'm rrrrreeeeeeeeallllllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyy not sure on that one Johnny. May sound nice in theory...
RS Grant Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 I'm keen to see a photoshop, but it sounds a bit max power to me buddy... possible re-think required IMO. Cheers, Grant
Richie Cross Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 Yeah, a photoshop is required but can't imagine THAT much gold! If you're getting it painted, you've got a chance to make it unique...er, just not that unique!
stum450n Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 A VERY quick look at it in PS so the gold's probably nearer yellow than gold and the blue's really badly selected but it gives you the idea... Imho, that wouldn't be a good look BUT... ...that could work!
colin_ross Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 I'll check what rattle cans I have in the garage.
johnnyr6 Posted April 14, 2010 Author Posted April 14, 2010 cheers colin, i've got some gloss that could work on the wheels m8. Johnny
Phil MC Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 How about Gold metallic flake all rally stickered up, with Anthracite wheels....photoshop anyone???
RS Grant Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 (edited) Matt Black looks a bit council on older cars... newer cars get away with it, Focus RS500, 997 Porsche etc. Cheers, Grant Edited April 14, 2010 by RS Grant
Jon B Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 matt black is the way forward.... with gold rally graphics

actionslax Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 Was looking at RS4's the other day and this looks pretty nice in matt black (wrapped)! Green originally.
G.Mac Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 that would have been expensive^^^ but much better than green IMHO Graeme

colin_ross Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 Sort of. It's thicker but very stretchy when heated.

x444wrx Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 This wrapping may be the new big in thing in the modding scene...............or it seem's very popular with rs4 owners, saw this one at knockhill today looked pretty good too
