RS Grant Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 btw what times should a standard ppp,d sti run iv got 315,5bhp 330lft when it was rollers a few months ago When I ran my standard STi Spec D at Crail, the best time I managed was a 13.0... forget the terminal speed. That was without being mapped/PPP'd or anything. IIRC it made 303bhp @ Wallace Performance Dyno Day as standard. Cheers, Grant

kennybspec-d Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 only done a 14.7 but should get into 13s if i can get my starts i managed a 13.55 was well chuffed for my first time 1/4 mile session in scoobie world also beat the stripped out white pulsar the k24 ed eg civic and a calibra turbod nova thing got caught at the line with a bike great times ehh cant wait for the next one mmmmmm reckon if the launches are better who knows
maxy Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 (edited) I thought the point of the strip was to get a good start and a good time not to try and wheel spin all the way down which a lot of fwd cars where trying there best to do !!! lol Maxy Edited April 26, 2010 by maxy
diffbuster Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 A good day out Was had,Good to meet Chris your car will easily meet your expectations when it can get enough grip an easy ten or nine to be had at santa pod where they actually spend some money on upkeep and prep. the right hand lane was a joke with mud on the staging area and first 60 feet caused by guys queuing on the verge. But enough excuses I didnt even manage a twelve in the left lane despite 112 mph terminal better luck next time eh.
grant@AWD Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 How did it go for everyone at Banzai then ? sorry i never made it up was a good day i heard pitty it was rainning didnt see much point as no better ma times...
killbill Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 How did it go for everyone at Banzai then ?sorry i never made it up was a good day i heard pitty it was rainning didnt see much point as no better ma times... the rain went away and track was complete dry and sun was beating down was some fast times but not as many as the USSC event.
braveheart Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 Did you go Chris? How were the times? Yes did go up was pissing down and smart a*** here thought he could get a decent time not lol car was wheel spinning 1 2 3 through the morning it was that busy I only got once in the dry and that was a 11.7 not what I was expecting then let some tryre pressure out to stop spinning still no joy just far too busy and the launch area on the right lanes was abisimo the joys never even got a chance to use Nos either, would be good to work for wallance performance turn up and get piority instead of sitting for an hour in the que. Nice to meet some new faces diffbuster and the rest forgot names met that Many also a big well done to the professor (Matt) on his datsun Gtr he he to get through to the finals knocking out a Wallace car well done to the winner... Untill next time please stay dry if not I'll look after the kids lol and the wife can take the car up.
Russs Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 would be good to work for wallance performance turn up and get piority instead of sitting for an hour in the que. Sorry, we did feel more than a bit awkward about that...... I explained to them that we had just brought the cars all the way up from Time Attack Oulton Park. I think they wanted us to put on a bit of a show

mikeyb13 Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Sorry, we did feel more than a bit awkward about that...... What a lot of pish. Obviously you didnt feel that awkward or you wouldnt have asked.
Russs Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 What a lot of pish. Obviously you didnt feel that awkward or you wouldnt have asked. Perhaps not too wise to say something like that when you don't know the facts. Did I not just say they wanted to do something for the spectators?!
