Midnight21 Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 ok, looking at may the 8th and 9th for the fling to avoid may day mayhem the previous weekend but want a quick canvas of opinion as to skye again or head round the north ullapool direction but using the same format.so skye, north or not bothered please - im here to serve I would like a wee run around Ullapool direction...but easy really so will go with the flow lol...
scooby doom Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 (edited) 8th & 9th is good for me and with Skye last year something different would be cool but I'll still go with the flow either way. Edited February 2, 2010 by Scooby Doom

bobbyc Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 8th & 9th is good for me Dave decisions decisions, fancy a different route but i'll go with the flow
paul555sti Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Cant make those dates . Hope you have a good one and mind and get loads of pictures.
sczscoob Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Ah booger, i'm away for that dates. Never mind I'm sure there'll be plenty more things going on in the year.
thefastone Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 To be honest I'll go either way Dave, as I think that both routes have some great roads... Might fire on down when I'm home and have a chat about it if you like?
terzo neil Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 will check call out dates over next few days, a trip rounnd ullapool or down the applecross road would be different
cullenmin Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 I'm supposed to be working. But if I can go then I'd like to go North
gus the bus Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 dates seem ok with my diary a wee run up to Kyle of Lochalsh, Lochcarron. Poolewe, Aultbea and round to Ullapool would be braw. Last done that route to "run in" the WRX300 in June 2005. Fantastic ........but you have to remain extremely alert on some of the "singles" .....bloody tourists
scooby222 Posted February 3, 2010 Author Posted February 3, 2010 ok dates were preliminary and seems to be quite a few clashes so thinking move it back to the may1st/2nd or forward to 22/23 or 29/30th
StrikE Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 It was about the beginning of the month last year easy for these dates either at the beginning or end sir
bobbyc Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 Cannae please everyone Dave just pick a date & post it up I'll be booking time off work no matter what weekend you choose
gus the bus Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 later would be better 1st and 2nd are May holiday weekend so will be busier on the roads
badbaz Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 Either first or last suits us too, but as Bobby says, you can't please everyone all the time! I just hope you please me
lewisscoob Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 later would be better 1st and 2nd are May holiday weekend so will be busier on the roads I agree, the first weekend in May will be busier than the rest of the month. I'm easy whatever dates are decided. I once did a run from Gairloch to Fort William via Durness, Thurso and Inverness in one day and the roads up there are second to none!
