wrxmania Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Ad says £65,000 spent - that must have blown the "I'll be keeping it standard" budget... http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1384403.htm Brian

little vodka goblin Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 It did not get good view's on Wr1 owners site . I'm not suprised.....................the word tasteless springs to my mind. Each to their own I suppose.
wrxmania Posted January 22, 2010 Author Posted January 22, 2010 I'm not suprised.....................the word tasteless springs to my mind. Each to their own I suppose. Reading the spec I can't figure out where the £65,000 has gone - even when I include the original price of the car... Brian
stum450n Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 What a waste of a WR1! Can't see where the cash has gone either... It's not even had a full respray, Just the exterior panels!!!
StewartyBoy Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Re-Post! But yeah I think someones at the windup!
mystery machine Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Exterior styling by Amstrad's hi-fi division?
thewelsho Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Exterior styling by Amstrad's hi-fi division? haha! Yeah, not to my liking at all

mystery machine Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 And perhaps I'm misreading something, but: 19" KAHN ULTIMATE INDIVIDUAL ALLOYS225/40/18 HANKOOK RS-2 Must've been an awfae stretch pulling those 18" tyres over four 19" rims...
gambler Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Oh dear! I quite like the bonnet. If it had a reverse scoop. Thats all i like though
soundie Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 And perhaps I'm misreading something, but:Must've been an awfae stretch pulling those 18" tyres over four 19" rims... it cost 25k to do that tam!
BalliSTIc Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 This one's been flagged up on SIDC before several months ago... CAN'T think why it's not selling...
scoob fae ork Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 To get 18 " tyres on 19" rim's you need high power fairy dust to achieve that goal altho there is no performance benifet what so ever it saves a couple o quid on buying the tyres but the down side is the fairy dust costs 64k to do 4 wheels which would explain the cost of the car Do like the colour tho
sma01 Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 (edited) Ad says £65,000 spent - that must have blown the "I'll be keeping it standard" budget...http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1384403.htm Brian not my cup of tea, seems a bit unrealistic price for money spent on mods, altho ive no idea what some of the "styling"(i use that term loosely...)would cost ....reckon i must have receipts for a hefty sum too right enough, its far too easy to get caught up in it all and the spending spirals... BalliSTIc Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 I was a bit disappointed when I opened this thread, actually... I thought brian had jacked in his Red hatch ALREADY and bought a GTR!!! Must say, I know which I'd spend £65K on between a GTR and this!
