DR Motosport Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 My very first Impreza, bought new in 1997. Very rare back then it was one of only 3 in West Lothian. And how it looked 5 years later when I sold it. My white WRX ra track car, when bought in 2006 Doing what it's supposed to do. Under 60 second laps at Knockhill. Finally, how it looked when I sold it in the Summer
gambler Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Green Goblin - Thanks that was when i was pushing v hard at knockhill in time attack as i was down on power at the time. Also have another official time attack picture at snetterton where the brakes are glowing again. No wonder i only get 120 track miles, half of them are cool down laps, to a set of F series race pads RA Dunk - Splitter came from the B&Q motorsport department, its right next to the plywood and the struts were from demon tweeks. Decided to try a plywood effort to see if it worked. It did, pulled my bumper to peices before it was securely attatched to the car. Then i ripped it off halfway through qualifing at silverstone and really noticed the difference. Will be getting a carbon fibre one made up for next year

micra_wrc Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 ach Colin, stop scaring everyone and post up a pic of how the R looks now
RA Dunk Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 It's my destiny to own those wheel's one day Col
colin_ross Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 I'd say make me an offer but they're out on loan at the moment. Not sure what to do with them long term - i'm thinking stick some slicks on them.
gambler Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 RA Dunk - It goes right under the engine to level with the front of the arches. I shielded the bit under the manifold with a bit of aluminium which i rivited to the splitter. Just to be on the safe side as its v close to the splitter.
