Any Scottish Lawyers On Here

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Not sure if there are any lawyers on here but you could put it out there (unless it's private) and someone

might have had similar experiences etc?

Don't feel able to air my dirty laundry in public at the mo. I just hoped someone on here, or partner of, would be able to have a little chat re a difficult time.

you should be able to get a free telephone consoltation and mostly a free inital consoltation from most solicitors, though make sure you ask specifically as I got charged by one of them who was only interested in checking about legal aid...needless to say I didn't go with that one...

If its anything to do with family law..... well I'm no lawyer but I've certainly been through the wringer regards contact with my kid... if you're in a similar situ feel free to drop me a pm ..

No UK & US lawers My £12 gave me the right info & prevented the council from getting thier hands on my parents life savings.

Lowest option for me was £13! So if you didn't like an answer you didn't pay Bobby, or did it not come to that?

Baz the laywer that emailed my answer managed to give me the publications and references as laid down by the councils guidlines so the information I required was there in black and white.

When I wrote to the council & quoted their own guidlines to them & said see you in court I was called in for a meeting & after an apology & being ensured the person in the wrong would be retrained an acceptable agreement was reached at that meeting, don't get me wrong the family had 8 months of stress & had endless waist of time letters going to & from.

Don't know your circumstances mate but I wished that I had stumbled across this site earlier & coughed up £12, I had also been to citizens advice, age concern, social services etc etc & spent countless hours looking for info nae wonder i've nae flowing locks anymore :icon_salut:

So it was a Scottish lawyer then?

How much detail did you go into in your original question?

Interesting one this, didn't think a lawyer would give you a sniff of a fart for £12!!

Bobby seems as if he's been there an bought the t-shirt with the website. Is it not better spending £12 and getting half an answer than being left wondering and not having an answer at all?!

Consultations with lawyers are usually 100 folding papers an hour and will only give you half an answer, the other half will cost another 100...

...and yes I have had experience with the barstewards.
