About KennyG

  1. Has to have four wheels and room for a child seat.. opinion on price though??
  2. Decided to move on to pastures new (and cheap and cheerful) to pay off some bills I've only advertised it on pistonheads...am not looking for an urgent sale. I've had a few offers of PX - most falling over after getting insurance quotes. One guy basically told me it wasn't worth what i was asking.. he didn't actually say there was anything wrong - just he didn't think it was worth what I was asking for it - in fact he asked for £800 as well as my car... needless to say - I declined... But its got me thinking - have I overpriced? http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2172350.htm Any thoughts? I thought the price was reasonable - its far from a shed... clean mot sheet etc etc but so far apart from the PX offer's.. not had any interest and would really prefer a cash sale Time of year? Something obviously off-putting in the ad? I may still keep her... well at this rate I will be anyway!
  3. Had just bought my car and had parked it outside my flat... was a bit concerned about its safety in the area though.. Same night was looking out the window .. admiring it of course... big group of kids walked by.... and stopped when they saw the car Uh oh I was thinking .. then four of them whipped out their phones and started taking pictures
  4. did I see that parked in the csc carpark the other night.... noticed it as I was coming in in the evening
  5. one tip I use for auctions list on a thursday for ten days - auction will cover two weekends and end on a sunday... Encourage viewing before bidding... advise advertised elsewhere.. if they happen to make an offer on viewing then you would just need to cancel the auction.. I've only sold two cars through ebay... one was a deal out of auction.. the other was a bidding sale - lower value so the fees were not to bad, cash on collection - deposit of 10% through paypal I tend to get on better sticking a sign in the window and driving as usual. lol
  6. Bmw e46 m3 -not many at that price but for the build quality and power and looks great Skyline r34 GTT - like the shape... rwd and probably some decent mods at that price. Honda S2000 ... only 2 seat convertable I'd consider... Probably more but half asleep
  7. Need the opinions of the experts I'm trying to work out the value of my wrx - its not for sale - I've been looking at the prices on here, pistonheads, ebay, autotrader and I can't seem to narrow down a value Current spec of the car is The spec is MY99 WRX saloon in mica black three previous owners Imported in 2004 90,000 on the clock Tracker Cat 1 alarm Auction sheet and full uk history Modifications 17" Prova-Technocast alloys (shortly changing them to 2003 wrx wheels) Boost and voltage gauges MP3 Stereo STi rear lamps 3" bore hks exhaust Decat HKS induction kit Bailey dump valve Cambelt change at 60,000 miles Body has no rust, couple of parking dents - which I'm planning on getting removed other than that its pretty spotless Interior is in good condition.. everything working etc.. Engine runs nicely, no issues with that either anyone got any thoughts on it?
  8. can do you a deal on some bargain yellow snow
  9. tesco on the kingsway was working earlier today
  10. http://www.yell.com/motoring/blog/wave-goo...ne-transplants/ "Recent legislation from the DVLA (August 3rd 2009) suggests that your motor swap with mates is now impossible. Shocking and downright pointless legislation in the form of the latest Individual Vehicle Approval test suggests that the age of the DIY engine swap has come to a halt. And guess what, it’s all been driven through by European Legislation, so we’ve got the EU to blame."
  11. ended up with both and both have their pluses and minuses ps3 I use for dvd/blueray watching and occassional gaming.. xbox more for online gaming as a good few of my friends have the 360..
  12. you should be able to get a free telephone consoltation and mostly a free inital consoltation from most solicitors, though make sure you ask specifically as I got charged by one of them who was only interested in checking about legal aid...needless to say I didn't go with that one... If its anything to do with family law..... well I'm no lawyer but I've certainly been through the wringer regards contact with my kid... if you're in a similar situ feel free to drop me a pm ..
  13. Hi Folks I'm looking at getting my whole exhaust system sorted ... apparently leaks all the way down so am on the market for a new system and getting a race cat while I'm at it I've found a cat - but its for standard 2.5" system, does anyone know if there is a 3" race cat availible at all? If I go for the 2.5" system - I'm currently running a 3" - will I see any serious reduction in performance? What about exhaust tone and volume? I find my current system a bit on the loud side and would prefer something a bit more subtle without sacrficing too much power.. I'm thinking a Ninja Downpipe with Fast flow Cat and an HKS Super Dragger cat back system... Thanks for reading
  14. How about asking your neighbour that next time they turn up to call the police? At least that way they will know that they are definately not associates of yours and if they call... it wasn't you to have any backlash though they might not see it that way... you could get a cheap wireless camera and floodlight to cover the drive?
