gc8-r Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 got to say the -r.... as the p1 is a expensive, and slower copy,,,,, "thats a can of worms re-opened" but got to be the -r all day
lewisscoob Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 A V2 WRX STi Type RA Something like this minus all the decals! http://www.classiccarsforsale.co.uk/classi...php/carno/49885
colin_ross Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 yeah I like the P1 only coz I own one.........never drove the type R V6............no doubt a good drive though from what people are saying You'd think they'd drive the same but they don't. Type r is much more of a handful even with the same power. Must be down to the gearing and dccd.
uRaBu5 Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Could be a bit biased here, but i’d go for the RB5 – best colour ever on a classic and would love to have seen the RB320 in this. Derek

Fair one bud.........would like to have a blast of a type R one day........not that it would blow me away with over 500hp under the bonnet these days LOL LOL LOL LOL

I would say they are pretty much the rarest UK car Yes I agree there mate the RB5 is prob the rarest of the lot if you exclude the 22B UK edition. Only 444 RB5's were made with the name coming from........Richard Burns for his first year in the impreza world rally team and the 5 coming from the number of cars he used through the season.............(just some duff info there for you lol)

sti pretender Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Some type r's have that and a bit more Especially Mr Forrest. I'd say V3 Type R close ratio and Dccd is loads of fun.

Also there were only 100ish WR sport RB5's built with special extras. You do have to exclude 22B's as they are a law to themselves
the squiggle Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Biased what does that mean? Il say RB5 as well. I would say they are pretty much the rarest UK car (cough) Series McRae with 200 (cough) Thought the 5 in RB5 was the number he used in his first season with Subaru, might be wrong on that one though
