  1. all going good mate..................car being treated to wrc spec shafts from elite transmisions uk when I'm home and also have had fibre glass doors made up along with the windows done............gearbox is still being tested and will be in when all is good.................... Went to the nurburgring when I was last home and the did rockingham at japfest 2............in my session started 34th out of 37 cars on track which was bonkers and way to busy but still managed to pass all 33 in front of me in about 10 mins. will have to meet up for a track day bud...........going to crack another 2/3 when i'm home in october good effort to all involved in team subaru guys............great to see mikee hitting the 9's also

DamienP1 Hey Kev sorry I missed the meet in june but after seeing you up chatsworth I snapped my front left shaft showing the guys a launch..............its one of the last things that had to get sorted but its all done now.........off to the ring between the 6-9th and will then pop down to the meet on the 11th
  4. Yes mate its all custom......the arches the side exit (which has a silencer on it to help pass track regs)..........the interior is all one off...........I go pick it up on wednesday and am very excited about it.....not had the car scince november last year

In wales there is a big mix of classics and newage wavers.......I was also thinking when I got my first scoob....why is everyone waving at me.......but after my mate told me the crack I just joined in and its become a bit of a thing now. As for every scoob racing well thats prob just your area.........not that I don't get a scoob or GTI'r or evo up my a*** now and again coz it happens in south wales to..........I normally just laugh and think to myself If you knew whats under the bonnet you would really not bother as you'd get embarassed........however in a safe area when its quiet I'd very rarely just puty my foot down and go and watch them try to keep up Agree with the majority though racing is for track only...........
  9. suppose everyman is entitled to do as he wishes but in my eyes its spoiling the car.....especially a P1.......and thing of that extra weight on the track LOL. fuel costs are going up a bit yes but if you own a subaru you must expect to pay for the best fuel to keep it running nicely

Power to Weight: 505 bhp/ton 0-60: 3.0 0-100: 6.8 60-100: 3.8 1/4 Mile ET: 11.17 1/4 Mile Terminal: 130 Dragstrip 1/4 Mile ET: 10.82 Dragstrip 1/4 Mile Terminal: 133 this was without driver weight which will make it different..........plus set up totally affects the overall results also....... Interesting.........got a meet coming up in the summer up the pod and should be in the 10's so will see how close this thing really is this was with my P1 heavilly stripped @583.9bhp and 550lbft..........will be running 650ish before the drag strip so maybe the figures will be better
  11. Hey bud.........well I'm back between the 19th of may and the 10th of june............so if anythings on during then give me a bell and I'd love to meet up with the guys. The car will be ready this time as they're expecting me on the 3/4th of may but I have to do and extra 2 weeks away so I'm very confident the car will be finished by then.

My mods for the year..... wide arches wider wheels type R rear axel Rear brembos side exit exhaust more weight loss digidash 35 billet.....................all being done now Later this year........... Even more weight loss (must reach 1000-1100) sequential gearbox turn the cossie inlet around set up time with andy mckenna and some driving lessons poss new suspension setup
  13. Well its been a while since I was last on here but thats because I've been to lazy to renew......but hey i'm back on and gonna browse to see whats new. Car has had a shed load of changes......last time I posted it was off back up to the SCOOBYCLINIC to get some underneath goodies and a new map..........all went a lot better than expected, out of the garret GT35r I made........ 583.9 BHP and 550lbft torque @1.8 bar with 15% meth........which in a stripped P1 makes it pretty fast......took it on goodwood and had a wail of a time, but only used the low boost setting of 501bhp and 486 torque. At the moment the car is back up at the scoobyclinic and has been since the begining of december last year................I'm having custom arches put on........a type R rear axel for the stronger diff.........2007 brembos for the rear..........Defis being ripped out and replaced with a digidash.............control box fitted in the car and the dash flocked and cut in half.............Side exit race exhaust off of the clinics Fatboy race car...........A new GT35r Billet............new compomotive tarmac wheels in toyo 888's............and a few other trick bits. After I pick up the car in may.........it should be running around the 650 BHP mark and torque will be i the high 500's............no track days planned as yet for the summer but i'm going on a ring trip in august so need to get a few test runs in so I get used to the setup These were all taken about 3 weeks ago so lots would have changed with the bodywork .............the rears are still all squarish and not matched to the wheel.......but if the time scale I had was right the car will be getting painted right now with everything nice and curved.

Hey chris............yeah we'll speak about it tomorrow mate but so you know my mate lives the other side of the edinburgh water so is only about 20 miles or so from crail............if you can tell me which road your going to be using on the way up I shall wait on the side of the road.
