braveheart Posted September 25, 2009 Share Posted September 25, 2009 (edited) Well folks another update on the WL as it being preped and painted here are some updated pics, spoke to Bodyshop and told me the stripping of the sound proofing was a nightmare lol ooops sorry, things are coming along very nicely and wont be long untill all assembled, SW is making my customised door cards of alliminium and console will keep the pics coming on each update ?? Yes i know when i spoke to Boab he said the stripping of the sound proofing wouldn't be that bad lol oopps,never mind the masking alot of hours indeed to prep 24 hous altogeather just to get it masked up to that stage.. he is a great bloke and goes out his way to help, as you know, looking forward to getting it all back togeather cage and seats and a few other bits and shiny pieces back in and off we go and my new wheels should arrive in the next 3 weeks as the BK racing wheels are a bit too heavy and every bit of weight counts i have started stop going heavy on the weight to cut up a bit lol...Ive ordered the Metalic Black Pro Race 1.2 in 18”, 8x 18”, 5x100, ET20 and the Rubber will be225/40x18 Toyo T1-R Regards Chris Link to comment

braveheart Posted October 16, 2009 Author Share Posted October 16, 2009 (edited) Well at last the inside is painted and a good job indeed and a thanks to Stevie Walkers Bodyshop in bathgate about time i put some new pics up decided to do all the mesh in black as the silver just never had the edge me thinks, and the black gives it a more aggresive stance.... the car is of to my mechanics for a few more mods... decided to change all the coil packs for new shape ones and changing the wiring harness, also now waiting on SW fitting my door cards and console with my anti-lag launch control ect and the new wheels will be here on Monday.. roll on the 5th is all i can say all comments welcolmed.. he he Chris Edited October 16, 2009 by braveheart Link to comment

Get some carbon footwells in there before you take it out for a thrash, I fitted a couple in the rally car and it made a massive difference to keeping the car interior clean and looking as well as it went.
