Phil MC Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 I'm sure I've seen some single-din conversion panels for the Impreza on ebay. Just have a quick search .
cruz104 Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 Hi John Try this kit, what make is your stereo and what gap has been left? If you are still stuck pop up a pic and let everyone have a look. cheers j http://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/double-faci...47_741_742.html

burgy_51_ Posted July 26, 2009 Author Posted July 26, 2009 Had a look at the links and they look a bit big, the brother gave me a ripspeed dvd head unit, its not fitted yet, its the same size of a normal headunit, the standard subaru is alot bigger as yous will know, so if i take that out and put the ripspeed 1 in it will leave a 1inch or 2 gap, is there some kind of panel that fitts the gap, im i making sence of this?? cheers
cruz104 Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 Hi John Ok trying to follow this, is the unit a single din with a pop out screen that makes it look like a double din when turned on, if so this might do the trick, depends on how the unit mounts into the dash when the power is off. try this
westtra Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 what about getting the forrester adapter from subaru? it comes with a little pocket you can stick stuff in.

Hi John I think if memory serves me correctly it sits below the unit, I think the guys might be onto something with the forrester idea, might be worth having a chat with your local dealer.
