fai17 Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 Sold my modded STi well over a year ago now and don't miss it. I love the Bimmer, it's so much more comfortable, cheaper to run but still has enough power to keep a smile on my face. Rear wheel drive is much more fun too.I hear and see subarus going around all the time and i don't miss the rumble one bit. You will get good money for your car when the right buyer comes along and will get a very good car for that money. Thats because all you done was to polish it to death LOL
gus the bus Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 Don't sell it John if you can afford it! been through this enough times to realise that you CANNOT beat a Scooby for all round fun!
StrikE Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 And you owe me a sit in your car Funnily enough i was going to say the same
thewelsho Posted June 19, 2009 Author Posted June 19, 2009 Don't sell it John if you can afford it! Aye, I was out in it last night at the Larark meet, what a hoot, loved it!
oobster Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 I agree with the 'don't sell it' brigade. I regret selling mine most days, although I did own it for 3 and a half years. A combination of that plus redundancy plus becoming a father meant it was the best time to sell it but I wish I had been in a position to go for another Subaru at the time, maybe a Forester STI.
mystery machine Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 Aye, I was out in it last night at the Larark meet, what a hoot, loved it!It's nice to have you back, John
