If you end up going down yourself, Head down the A1, turn off at Grantshouse, 2-3 mins after C/path (posted Duns) and it's 15-20 mins to Duns (through Preston). Once you get to Duns, it's a T- junction, turn left down to the mini roundabout and the garage is directly on your left...You can't miss it Link to comment

The exact post code for our stand location is TD11 3ES based at Aitchisons Garage in Duns. Hi Friday night has a club stand at Aitchisons Garage and you are very welcome to join the crew who are signed up so far. In the town itself a stage will pass through the town centre at 8.30 ish. Roads into Duns close at 7pm and then diversions will be put in place. I do not know if there is a charge to see the rally, I think you may only be charged for car parking, I am not sure at this stage where the parking is as Duns in 40 minutes away from me, the Borders has a fair old geographical spread. All I can say is that it is well worth coming to see. Hope this helps John Link to comment

cruz104 Posted May 18, 2009 Author Share Posted May 18, 2009 Hi Folks Here is the latest, with so many cars from SIDC our stand will be split into 2 parts, 4/5 cars at the front of the garage and the rest will make up a display in the court yard, the organisers are really pleased so many SIDC members are supporting this. On Saturday we are getting the entire front area of the garage, they are expecting both days to be busy. We are right in the middle of the street stage and at one of the best vantage points. I am afraid everyone has to be on the stand for 6pm and once you are there you have to stay till 10pm, the roads will close at 7pm sharp. I am thinking I will try and get another car to take people out to the stages, does this appeal to people? Thanks again to everyone for your help and support it is really appreciated.
