scoobzie Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 this is a sore one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KvycA8EWNBc...feature=related
ScottyRB320 Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 Wow! I would not have expected a positive outcome having seen the state of that car! All 9 lives used up in 1 go if you ask me
4Hero Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 a bit of t-cut would sort it out! Someone died for **** sake. Not sure if t-cut would bring back the poor guys life.
jimmymc1 Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 driving irresponsibly on public roads brings very harsh consequences! you think im going to have sympathy for these guys? do you think they were sympathetic to there families when flying round public roads? no its there families and the poor people who have to clean up the mess that i feel sorry for!
Joe G Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 A good lesson to be learned by this one!! Its hard to believe anyone survived!!
chris_blair Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 Someone died for **** sake. Not sure if t-cut would bring back the poor guys life. 100% agree! A. Someone died and your joking about it. No matter what the circumstances show some respect. B. That "joke" is the most over used pathetic attempt at humour
jimmymc1 Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 my comment was directed at the car not the guy involved! if you guys really are offended by my comments then its high time you grew up a bit and started living in the real world ! its no about respect for the dead, some guy who was passenger in a car driven by someone at dangerous speeds lost his leg and yeah unfortunately he lost his life, but i didnt post up anything regarding this guy other than a comment about his car. as i thought it was all that worth commenting on? what did you want me to do when i saw that post up saying how sorry i was about some guy ive never met and how sad it is and how sorry i feel for the guy posting the video on you tube? the guys lost his mate and the way he feels necessary to remember him is to post a video of his wrecked car and comment on how fast he had been driving at the time of the accident? yeah lets give him a pat on the back and a round of applause for getting out in one piece! as for your second point thats exactly what i was getting at ! its not a good joke and i wasnt trying to be funny but its the only response i have for such a stupid video!
diablo Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 (edited) could the stupid video not be a little reminder to people not to drive like this as this is what will more than likely happen after your stupidity ? that.s my take on this video ps. as below jimmy everyone has the right to there own opinion even you m8 Edited April 3, 2009 by diablo
jimmymc1 Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 i understand thats why scoobzie posted it up but im bemused as to why the passenger posted it up in the first place?
sti_steve Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 Thats my thoughts Jimmy. Why would you post that on YouTube? Who actually wants to see that? Nothing to do with the OP but the guy who survived the accident, bemuses me
stum450n Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 Thats my thoughts Jimmy. Why would you post that on YouTube? Who actually wants to see that? Nothing to do with the OP but the guy who survived the accident, bemuses me To be fair, I can see why someone who survives a smash like that where others dies would want to draw attention to how fooking dangerous driving like that can be... I don't think it's that people would be actively looking to spend their time watching stuff like that, as I said, I get the impression the passenger was looking to raise awareness... I just think the message has been watered down somewhat which is a shame [imho]

I saw one thats aired in the US and it certainly makes you think! I will see if I can find it...
Wagon_Mark Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 (edited) I hit a tree in my classic wagon at about 50, went spinning backwards into it.. Me and my girlfriend walked away with some cuts but the car was a goner. Really makes you think about the what if's, and has definately changed the way i drive. Mabey its a good thing sometimes getting a hash reminder... Whether or not making your own video in that kind of case is the right thing to do who knows. Remember, they are American. jimmymc1 Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 off topic here but it is full of drama queens who dont ever do anything wrong on the road , always drive in the correct manner and use the same polish on their dashboard as they do on their halo's. im just back to sidc after a trip on the darkside but was a member for some time a few years ago when the mass exodus from s/net happened (never been the same since) i appreciate that there are arguabley better quality events on the go these days but what good are they if newbie's who have witnessed the high and mighty members of todays scottish scoobies posts are too put off to bother turning up?. Which leads then too same old people in their wee clique attending and spouting crap on here. again i appologise if some are offended but im sure some will know what im talking about
