It's due at Fettes on a certain date for a certain time, then onward to Northumberland. In it's time at Fettes, it's hopefully going to be used on a driving course i'm instructing (for assesment purposes, you understand....).

mic Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 Hey 4hero, didn't YOU know its illegal to do more than 70mph, but I guess you've never done that
4Hero Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 (edited) Hey 4hero, didn't YOU know its illegal to do more than 70mph, but I guess you've never done that I can concentrate on driving at 72mph, you lot with mobiles cannot. Edited October 8, 2008 by 4hero
mic Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 Rather general statement there, you say that some people cannot concentrate while driving and using the phone... well the government say that you cannot drive safely at 72mph, thats why the speed limit is 70mph (Bit anal but you get the idea) I personally use bluetooth, but i was reading this and felt like stirring it lol
Subarstar Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 Hi Carson, hows it going buddy? Sorry to hear about your "run-in" with the cops - lesson learned I suspect. As for all those "whiter than white" members out there, a well known man once said:"let him who is without sin cast the first stone." We've all broken some law/rule/regulation at some point, so don't give the guy a hard time for owning up to his misdemeanor and warning the rest of us to be on our guard. He's not the only scooby owner in the area who has used his mobile phone behind the wheel- I've seen plenty others about doing the exact same thing! Chin up mate, norry

Norry for Prime Minister, best bit of sense i have heard in ages. We all push our luck now and again, some get away with it, some don't. Right I'm off out to speed AND talk on the phone at the same time.......... Regards ScottyB
Carson Posted October 9, 2008 Author Posted October 9, 2008 how do norry... am good mate:) hows your machine? colzo Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 Its definitely more dangerous using a hand held mobile when driving, not so much the concentration but that fact you would have no hands on the steering wheel when changing gear and not indicating etc. 3 points well earned IMO.
