Nope, I need another car to take the dog out, because he doesnt get near the Scoob, so I have a runaround as well...... or did, before it all went wrong and the engine gave up in my trusty Rover. ;)

Cheers,

Wish mine was a daily driver, then it wouldnt be for sale ;)

Tend to use the Mrs Pug 307 Auto (great car) now that she's on maternity leave.

Might get a wee jallopy once the scoob is sold - quite fancy an auld mini.

Daily driver, gets used for everything, work, shopping, family trips the lots, did 22,000 in her last year. Works hard does the old wagon ;)

I use my car most days, average about 1000 miles per month, use the wifes car now and again to keep the mileage down a bit.

well mine is my daily driver. nearly 30 mile round trip each day and boy does it hurt the wallet. normally drive around faily sedate to save fuel but sometimes you just have to give it a bit of beans. if i could afford to run and insure a second car i would.

however i know the costs and i still chose to run a scoob. as much as it hurts when the petrol, the miles and the servicing bills come in its worth it for the moment you hit fool boost in a clear country road and just feel fantasitc that the car under you is in fact yours and not just something you look at on a poster.

lost count of what my car has cost in nearly two years. don't really care either. :D :D

At the moment I'm working at home most of the week. Wife sometimes uses it for her work but not so much since the new wheels went on it ! :D . If I used it every day in to work I don't think I could afford to run it.

Mine was bought as a daily runner but I do around 20,000 miles a year and it really hurt the wallet so I started rummaging though the classifieds and got myself a cheap commuter.

So Monday to Friday, you will find me in a 12 year old turquoise Pug 106 diesel. Even driving hard I get almost 60mpg.

Still do around 9,000 miles a year in the Impreza though. Always planned to keep it 3 years and change it for a newer STI but in the current climate and with the amount it has depreciated, I think I am likely to keep it for the long term now as a weekend/fun car and spend a bit of money modding it once the loan is paid off, and buy a better everyday car.

Mine is my everyday car (96 import STI) not the cheapest to run, but more fun than anything I've ever owned and its only about 8 or 9 miles each way from my girlfriends to work.

My weekend car is my 106, backwards as it may seem! Partly because its a stripped caged hillclimb/track car, but partly because the Subaru is probably more reliable lol

I use my car for track days only. And the odd blast down the back roads. I have a E46 M3 for daily use. A lot more comfortable than the track day impreza.

After having a good surf around here, i just wondered how many people actually use their scoobs as daily drivers?

I use mine for everything, from popping to the shops to family trips up North. I've put 4k miles on it in 3 months too.....

We only use ours once or twice week 3-3.5k per year. Public transport for work
