Who's Racing This Year?

I'm going to get a Fisher Fury or something in a few years I think. Then go sprinting and climbing.

Anyway best of luck to those competeing, I'll hopefully be at a few of them.

I have entered the Scottish Hillclimb Championship in my Fiesta again this year.

I hope to do all the rounds (Doune, Forrestburn, Fintray)

The first rounds are at Doune on the 19/20th of this month.

I LOVE my car and I want to drive that! What is the point in spending fortunes on it to run it back and from work? Pointless. My plan is to keep biulding it up till its near bullet proof and then keep it mostly for track and I'll get a Beemer for every day use. That is some years down the line however! your blocks pretty much bullet proof for the horses your running, all you need now is the gearbox to go with it, get saving for the PPG!

PPG can be done for much cheaper if you're prepared to bide your time and watch the for sale forums like a hawk. High spec cars are normally broken rather than sold as that where you get the most money.

If someone is parting out a big spec car there will defo be a built gearbox somewhere in the mix. Have some cash put by and be prepared to move fast (literally) when you see one.

Errr sorry about that I got interrupted mid post. I didn't mean to be so abrupt!

But the point remains and it amazes me the amount that some fok will spend on a track day car when they could be competing for less.

After seeing some people going round Knockhill I'm not so sure about that.

I did mean actual competition when I started the thread and I think we got there in the end.
