Davie (Corsa): I can't peel the stickers off casue there are none on yet, that's jsut a mock-up done in Photoshop. But the car needs something to make it disticntive. The WRC stickers were good for a bit, but the world and its granny has them now. Also been - seen - done that! Stephen: What is it about the Gumball stickers that looks so bad? I was thinking about doing the bonnet and scoop, plus the spolier in camo. For that I'd drop the gumball sticker and replace it with jsut SUBARU where the WRC one goes. I think Imight do another mock up in yellow this time to see how it works out... Squiggle: My pleasure, did the vid work on your N95 ok? Cheers guys, even though you are a bunch of spoil-sports! The monster ones were a lot better than the orange though... the orange might go with some cars but not the blue of yours...

I think I'm jsut going to brave it and if it looks crap (which, going by the consensus, it most likely will), then I'll jsut have to live with it till I'm totally sick of it and take them off. At least it will be different and there wont be too many cars in the UK that looks like mine - this is, after all, the whiole point of the exercise - sort of!

Maybe try a few different colour combinations and you will eventually come up with a winner. p.s i liked your car with the nekid look

I'm going to go for it anyway. The mock-up is not the final design and as I said - mock-ups are false so they don't look right anyway and that detracts from what the actual outcome would be. I'm going to go for orange (I know I doesn't match the gold wheels that well but I hae some track wheels that I might paint!), drop the Gumball stickers. The bonnet will have the same logo across it that you see on the side and lastly the bonnet and bootlid will be done with a blue camoflague design! Later I will add tints to the rear windows and that's it! Thanks for all the comments, good and bad! John

How's about think again about keeping the orange, not the nicest flavour, maybe even a different shade of orange ?? I saw a few months ago a carbon fibre scoop for sale that had WRC on the top of it, looked very nice, so how's about something on the scoop (not necessarily WRC) that you don't mind staring at when you're driving. What about reducing the size of the banners at the top of the windscreen/rear window ? Sometimes a bit less can have a better effect ?? Just a few small suggestions to play with to get this to work for you ?

Again, the orange in the mock-up is not realistic looking, in which case it's going to look naff, I think. I will try different shades of orange to see what siuts best - hopefully not an orange that will fade this time!

Different, but not too different fromt eh SWRT graphics you had before.. Although some touches on the Redbull car that weren't too bad....but the colour is back to what you had !! The strips down the sides of the bonnet for example catch the eye but not over-powering. Mix-n-match.

Kill stickers - like what they had on the side of fighter planes to say what they'd shot down. So you could get little silhoutte of an elise with a line through it

I'm liking the look with the Lamp pod on the rally cars but not sure if it would work on a road car. ie fitting, quick removal for summer/daylight and uprated battery/alternator considerations - maybe someone can comment? You're a braver man than most for going down this route in order to give your car a "one off" look. I thought about gold decals for my black car but at the end of the day my cahoonas ain't big enough Go for it
