~ ~ Cal ~~ Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 Esteemed brethren, It is with great delight that I announce the arrival of my new daddy wagon :- 2.5 WRX SL Wagon Prodrive Performance Pack ( more torque than the new BMW V8 M3) Black Leather with heated seats Auto Sunroof Lots of boots space c/w anchoring points Previously owned by a female chemist so alloys took a "hit for the team" so these are being swopped out accordingly by T&C. Always wanted an STi but I'd rather have my son/wife combo anyday so this again is a compromise. No gold, no spoilers etc is my wifes gripe. This time I shall try and do a "JohnS" and do zero engines mods /exhaust. Has enough power & decent handling " as-is" With the Td-04 and the 2.5L is spools very quickly although I'll miss the VF35 lag-bang scenario Cheers for all the recent advice folks Cal Pictures here :- http://calum-shand.fotopic.net/c1471346.html Don't pick her up till Friday ! Still needs valeted and polished hence s****e hawk deposit !

RS Grant Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Ah ha, how the tables turn!! Lets see how long your self-restraint lasts with the 'zero mods policy' Mr Shand... Good choice sir, nice looking wagon. Cheers, Grant
thewelsho Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 (edited) A Practicle Performance car... nice one! Enjoy Edited March 9, 2008 by TheWelsho
cullenmin Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Very nice car you've got yourself there Cal, won't be long before some mods appear on it
RA Dunk Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 glad to see you stayed in the subaru fold MR.Shand!
~ ~ Cal ~~ Posted March 9, 2008 Author Posted March 9, 2008 Unless I buckle the only mods shall be :-Uprated brake pads, fluid & braided hoses & discrete prodrive mud flaps. Not even going to upgrade the backbox. If I do buckle :- Solid drop links & ARB. No springs, Ride is plaint enough with the inverted dampers Plan to keep this car trade in friendly so that IF in the future I trade for another marque it's more marketable. My bugeye booked @ £5600 but had around £5500 of mods. No-one other than Subaru really understands these mods.... I was quite tempted by a Forrester STi at one point Thanks Cal
