Attn All Newbies

was chatting to some newbies at last night's Glasgow meet and realised that they didnt know the extent of what Scottish Scoobies do.

we actually do loads of car stuff, from track days to monthly runs, from social & charity events to putting on a stand at various car shows over the summer months :rotfl:

Hope you enjoy scooby ownership as much as we do :rotfl:

there's loads of information on the forum, do a search as I'm pretty sure any questions you have will already have been asked (and answered) by someone else.

also recall Playsatan starting a thread about 'top 5 car tips for newbies' - will see if I can dig it out.

I was a complete Scooby virgin until last week, but now the cherry has been popped and i'm loving it! Got myself a MY98 Classic Turbo and so far i am over the moon with it! just need to adjust my self to the fuel consumption now lol!

I think this is a great site with loads of useful tips and information.

hi folks,having always been into cosworths and classic ford escorts, then classic escorts wi cosworth engines fitted,i have been doing some fabrication work for sw motorsport and decided to buy a classic ,so bought a v3 sti with a damaged engine so theres a new engine getting put together at sw motorsport as we speak,not crazy horsepower but ample!!

newbie alert haha just bought my first impreza 06 plate sti look forward to catching up with you guys in the new year

ive been on a few forums over the years mostly honda as i was mental for type r s for a while but thought i should get some 4wd action and turbo as ive never owned a car with either iv always been n/a inspired lol

Hiya all sidc newbie here,

Had imprezas for about 5 years now starting with a classic turbo 2000, a 03 plate sti and my present one a 55 plate sti type uk, best cars ever :thumbup:
