martin_allen Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 Still get 300 miles to the tank normally (about 27mpg) with a combo of motorway driving and sitting in traffic. Exactly the same as befoe the re-map. On a motorway run it's nearer 29 but that has to be all motorway. Not been as bad as i thought it would be! 5t.
iain01 Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 230 to a tank with mixed driving, I got 250 to a tank with my 2.0l wrx
Ian Coulter Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 I average 18 mpg in my standard MY06 STi in "normal" use. I have had up to 22 mpg on a couple of slower runs. I get less than 10 mpg at Knockhill! Ian
martin_allen Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 (edited) Honestly, don't know what the problem is. some heavy feet about 242 and over 1/4 tank left! Edited January 27, 2008 by fivetide
Big Gordon Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Honestly, don't know what the problem is. some heavy feet about 242 and over 1/4 tank left! How on earth did you manage that, constant 45mph on the motorway?
thewelsho Posted January 29, 2008 Author Posted January 29, 2008 How on earth did you manage that, constant 45mph on the motorway? Agreed! That is unreal!
martin_allen Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Agreed! That is unreal! Constant 70mph on the motorway. That's at 273bhp too! 5t.
thewelsho Posted January 29, 2008 Author Posted January 29, 2008 Constant 70mph on the motorway. That's at 273bhp too!5t. Ach.. Up yours!

mctwistuk Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 well i have covered just over 205 miles and have only used 3/4 of a tank. not too sure what that is in mpg but i think it is good going by what everyone is saying lol.
gogsie Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Always got around 18 mile to the gallon. If driving steady-ish I get 200mile from full to light coming on. Normally 180mile to a tank.
Subarstar Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 MY 98 standard UK spec 22-23mpg on a good day! But a lot less than that on a REALLY good day Fuel economy wasn't really my top priority when I bought the sccob. Still isn't and still lovin it almost 5 years on.
