am i the only old codger on this site thats confused, this is burstin ma t**s.first its a pig to get on then its confusing i liked the old site better geo

this place is alot better trust me on that, for the ones who have "limited" (worded that carefully lol) experiance on the net i can imagine it would look quite confusing with all the things to click on and look at, a few days and youll pick it up no problem lol :lol:

these new forums are nicer IMHO. Ok it was a fiddle to get logged in initially but that was expected. and we were notified of it.

Some people may not like the smaller font size but I dont mind that..

Only problem I have is that avatar of Ac!D scares the be-jesus out of me!

In answer to your question, yes.

The site is not "a pig to get on" - 99% of users have managed with no hassles whatsoever.

As for your complaint...

1) You correctly logged a support ticket saying you couldn't log on at 23:01 on the 21st.

2) Even though you are not a paid up SIDC Member, I responded with a fix to your problems at 23:03 - two minutes after you logged your problem. How many organisations do you deal with that provide a personal response and fix to your problems within two minutes ? And how many respond at 11pm at night?

I've heard nothing since so have to assume your problem is fixed. I guess the fact you're now you're logged in complaining proved my fix worked...

I'll accept fair criticism, but yours is unjustified :lol:

IMHO i think the new site is spot on heaps more things to do like now you can have a squint at other members cars and things like that. I think a big thanks is needed to those who put so much hard work and effort in to the new site :thumbup:

I have to agree this site is so much better than in the past, once you have had a look around there is so much on here, even more if you are a paid up member.

Oh yes its much better now, very modern and interesting.

I like it.

I got so wound up last night though, however I created a report ticket and in minutes andy had sorted the issue.

Although I have to say, He blamed my server, which is working perfectly LOL Thanks anyway andy.

yes the site is much better than the old one and yes the new features are ace.

I think we need to bear in mind that not all users are IT savvy and regardless of how much help/idiots guides we make there are some of us that need a bit more coaching :thumbup:

change takes a while to get used to m8 at my age so dont take personly geo

well put imy your right on the ball were not all tecno geeks some of us are just learning computers geo
