johns Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 Just a quick reminder about our next event at Knockhill on Saturday 15th September from 9am to 1pm. Free track instruction available if required, and also the wheel/tyre changing facilities from Wheels Around. Since our last event on the 28th July, places have been selling rather briskly, so I'd recommend booking up now if you don't want to end up on the reserve list this time around. http://shop.sidc.co.uk/prodView.asp?idproduct=441 to book online. Cheers John

micra_wrc Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 who are all going up to spectate? Wonder if i can get any pax laps in exchange for a donation towards Santa Cruise?
andy Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 Note that roadworks commenced again on the Forth Bridge this weekend. The southbound approach to the Kincardine bridge was chaos. Traffic was tailed back beyond the roundabout and onto the A977 towards Kinross. Didn't seem too bad northbound though, but the new bridge roadworks are slowing things down anyway. I believe Squizzel has an alternate route for those headng up from Weegieshire.
Fee Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 I was stuck in a 2 hour tailback at the bridge coming from the M8/9 on Saturday. I would think that it would be quieter first thing in the morning though
GaryD Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 John, are there any spaces left? My pal with the Silver Audi S3 (was on at one of the last SIDC trackdays) was looking to get a space again if possible? Cheers...

Gary, this event is now full I'm afraid, so I'm now taking bookings for the reserve list - though this is small at the moment so a good chance of getting a slot. Drop me an email on john@sidc.co.uk with his details and I'll add him. Cheers John
G.Mac Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 John, could you add me to the reserve list, cheers Graeme

(MOT time...)But yeah, anyone manage to give me a lift doon if my cars oot o' action please? I'll be there early and happy to give you a lift, but you'll need to be out of bed early. I'll most likely be heading down the Netherley road via Peterculter and coming out at Stonehaven. There's also a few Elise owners as well. Not sure about anyone who is just coming to watch from the ABZ area, that might be a better option for you (ie a few more hours in bed ) John

drb5 Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 Good day and good turn out. No pics taken and i left when it started raining, so all good.
the squiggle Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 Cherry Pie anyone Great day out. Good blast up the back roads to the hill on my own, apart from nearly being taken out by a Tipper on the racing line, and the cobwebs have now well and truly been blown off the car. Great banter both at the track and afterwards at the place where the beautiful gurls work and sell Cherry pie with the loverly puppies. Spec C was stunning in the flesh and round the track, just a shame Guernsey is so far away but with attractive road tax policy and SVA policy, i may well see if DHL Guernsey have any vacencies
