GB270 WRX Impreza

& now we know why there is a reduced price on WRX's at the moment and why they are saying that currently WR Blue WRX's are very rare - they want to clear out the other colours, keeping 300 WR Blue's back for this last 'Special Edition' scam.  If all goes to plan the demand will be there for the last 300 WR Blue WRX's and at a price no doubt!!

Got to love IM!!

I'll be placing my order for my next Scoob within the next 3-4 days. Don't like the Hawkeye in blue, but that wagon looks more than a bit tasty and after struggling to fit 17 packs of flooring into my scoob today because the bloody back seats don't fold down a wagon is looking more and more attractive..

Prices need to come soon though and they need to be competitive or it will be the import route for me again.

Going to have to be mega keenly priced, wrx hawkeyes everywhere on the net for around 15k and Sti's for around 20k brand new, full uk specs too.

I know ive had bad experiences with my present car etc.Ive e-mailed 3 different dealers enquiring about one of these cars and not one of them has had the decency to reply.Says it all really doesn't?

I know it's great when there are offers on new Imprezas or Special Editions - I h8 to keep saying it but, if you are looking to part ex against one (whether you currently have an impreza or not) it comes down to the 'cost to change'.

I think we all know that the dealers will reduce the part ex prices given in line with any price reductions on new cars or on Special Editions loaded with extras that potentially reduce margins.

We also have to consider the knock on effect these price reductions may have on depreciation of the cars we already own - I refer not only to the GB270 but also the reduced price of the standard WRX just announced.

I really like both of these but it will come down to cost at the end of the day. Den makes a good point. My car runs like a dream and is now 5 years old. Do I want to upgrade to the last of the old models or hang off for the new style STi. I think many people will want to see the new style STi before they commit ( although the WRX is a lesser model)
