Believe it or not I was talking to a F1 designer today regarding my Subby (well actually about building houses but I had the sub with me so the interesting conversation was about it) .Easiest way for more power is to lower temps. Allow the hot air arround engine to escape (change the hinges to leave a gap at the windscreen edge of thebonnet), FMIC, cold air induction. Then if your really serious oil coolers for engine and gearbox.
Im looking for a price to get my side skirts repainted along with the backs of the mirrors and a nasty deep scratch on the front bumper.
Let us know when you could fit this in !
oh well just need to get the 17 year old babysitter round then. Shes marginally better lookin than yourself anyway but has more tattos (nice Linwood girl)
Got them done. Thanks for the idea to remove the whole calliper. All the studs and nuts were totally covered in lock tight and being alluminium they are easily damaged. Away for a test run now that the footies over.
Trying to take the pads out for id purposes and to scallop the outside one which is rubbing against the hub but can only get the top and btm bolts out (the ones which go through the pads ) the larger middle bolt (could have sleve ) which hold the two billets appart is absolutly solid have tried tapping with hammer, wd40, no movement. This bolt does need to come out to allow the pads slide out doesnt it?
Any suggestions ?
I hate mechanical problems...
Ok , I tend just to wash n go , well actually just go. Only washed the car 3 times since I bought it ( January).
