I took the car down for a blast to Gala to let the guy and his girl see it...Kind of a final run for me... and to bed the new brakes in of course ( how superb are they ) They are having it and i will be in the cash come Monday... That's it parked in the drive, never to be driven by me again.... I'm not one to tempt fate after all the work that's been done on it .. Especially when someone is buying it.. I got the brother in law to fit the brakes mate, he's a mechanic so it would have been rude to get my hands dirty... I watched him do it tho and it looked a doddle.. The other bro in law fixed the rust ( wee spray and touch up ) and gave the car a full buff and Meguires treatment... Thank fek for family eh.. I done all the hard work on the back end tho... Going to get a ford focus for the wife .... AND A nice green Lawson rep ZRX1100 for me Gus , so watch this space... Mind you , if i can't find one i like it might be back to a ZX6R..... in green of course....

Thanks mate... i was feeling under pressure there for a nano second... I hear what the rest of you are saying tho... Great car but vastly under used... I've decided so it's defo going... guy is coming up to see it today with his wife ( the cars for her, so i made it all shinny ) I will get another , but it will be a few years down the line mehtinks...

Rear bumper bar and new reg light brackets fitted ( How easy is that ) along with the new discs and refurbed calipers on the front... Guy coming to see it later today.... I hope it's clean enough for him

I got a packet of tesco ones and the micro fibre pads... The pads are exactly the same as the pads i got in a Meguiars gift pack at Christmas.... Both do the same job as my bro in law said today... He's a paint sprayer by trade..

Na mate...wheels are coated in poorboys and well waxed ( thanks blue dragon.)... As long as it's it's not left on for long it's ok ... Trust me...Would i lie

I use the good old Ikea bottle brush for the wheels with tesco own brand wheel cleaner... gr8 job. On another wheel note tho.. with all the bikes i've had in the past i've used Mr Sheene to remove the oil etc.. Then coat them with WD40... made them easier to clean as the dirt settles on the wd40 film and wipes off easily... Gonna try that on my car wheels... when i get it down off the axle stands..
