  1. Looking good Gordon, just what i'm after next Is that the HT Autos one ?
  2. Must be the season for it. Amazing the difference such a wee mod can make, now for the splitter and foglight covers.
  3. Merry Christmas every one
  4. Glad to hear your OK Di, as has been said, cars can be replaced, people on the other hand . . . . Everyone over at Aberdeen Scoobies sends their best wishes. Ari.
  5. Thains ? pah, awa and bile yer heid min
  6. Rowies from a baker in Nairn ? Scandalous !!!
  7. Yup made it Stracathro ok, to be stung for V-Power to the tune of £1.27.9p a litre Only stuck in a tenner so went and filled up back in the 'Deen today at a full FOURTEEN pence a litre cheaper, how do they get away with charging so much down there ?!?! Cheers again, that Fiesta on the trailer we was behind was the most rallying action I seen all day
  8. Excellent stuff Grant, you deserve a knighthood for all the sterling work you've done sir. Surprised you declined to mention any of this while we were all in Craigvinean though . . . . . PS I WILL make up for the lack of "rowies" yesterday.
  9. Shame not all of us were there in time to witness this event Scoobykev, was that yourself who led us up through to Coupar Angus (Black WRX and a Green Passat) ? If so thanks a lot mate, was much appreciated
  10. This maybe sounds a bit daft (i've got my tin hat and flame suit on lol) but is there no way, seeing as it's the 1st anniversary of the deaths, it could be awarded posthumously to Colin, Johnny, Ben & Graeme and displayed somewhere as a memorial for the duration of 2009 ?
  11. Would seem there's more than a hint of truth to this rumour . . . .
  12. Right got it now, feck me what a farting aboot !
  13. AL where does that table come from where the emissions for a WRX are 242g/km ? All the ones i've seen are 219 for a WRX and that's also whats on my V5 which I assume is what the DVLA will go by. Confusing stuff this !
  14. Seems a bit unfair if it's a '52 plate, however I think your right in thinking it because of the date of registration in the UK ? I've a '53 Plate WRX SL and this is what mine comes out at: Subaru Impreza Saloon (00-05) 2.0 WRX AWD Turbo SL 4d Rates effective from 13 March 2008 Date of Registration - 1 Jan 2003 – 1 May 2005 6 Months - £115.50 12 Months - £210.00 Band - F CO2 (g/km) - 219 Rates effective from April 2009 Date of Registration - 1 Jan 2003 – 1 May 2005 6 Months - £165.00 12 Months - £300.00 Band - K CO2 (g/km) - 219 Rates effective from April 2010 Date of Registration - 1 Jan 2003 – 1 May 2005 6 Months - £170.50 12 Months - £310.00 Band - K CO2 (g/km) - 219
  15. Found this on an American Subaru site: Sums up Colin perfectly I think.
  16. VBH gtting a wee bit emotional there ! That aerial shot was amazing, you guys should all get knighthoods IMHO
  17. Hehe am just winding, just i've known Simmie for over 30 years, I know what he's like Was a good day though, distinct lack of Scoobs mind, must have been something else on at the weekend Did they get Andy's car sorted in the end ?
  18. Grant, you do realise Simmie will be on here shortly claiming you only won cos his start was crap do you ?
  19. This one I took this afternoon, can see the springs have settled a wee bit since yesterday. Colzo that's technical stuff mate !! I know there was Prodrive geometry settings came with the springs though Kev did say he didn't set them exactly as stated as they may be too harsh regarding tyre wear. It all goes right over my head
  20. Haha, knew someone would say that Dunk as I keep looking at both pics myself to spot the difference, I guess the main one being the gaps at the front and the rear are now the same, before it looked like the front of the car was jacked up ! The 2nd pic was taken just after the springs were fitted, they have settled a bit since then and will do so a wee bit more in the coming weeks. Main difference is in the handling though, like night and day now, feels much more planted. Stubaroo just springs at the mo, will be looking into some other suspension mods in the future maybe though i'm happy with the way it is at the moment. Next up is the front of the car, lip spoiler, fog light covers and de-tango in the pipeline. Also toying with the idea of anodised red mesh for the grills to keep the black and red theme going, not sure that might just be a tad OTT though !
  21. Got me some Prodrive springs fitted today, no longer looks like she's sitting on stilts ! Big thanks to Kev @ T & C. Before: After:
  22. Aberdonians, Dunk . . . . . . . . .
  23. Same here Duane82, we've not had much luck with our forums over the past wee while !
  24. Like Simmie needs another 40-50bhp Anyways I heard it was nearer 100
  25. Cheers for the comments folks, always feels good when you get the thumbs up from the enthusiasts Steve, yer welcome anytime yer passing bud. Oobster had a right good look but couldn't see any white with a red lip, would look the mutts nutts if they could be done though.
