    I had a look at the boot hinge layout in the sti i have and its totaly different to the way yours is .

    There is wear in the black spring bar you can see it in the picture .The hinge bracket can be welded and buffed up so you can't see the weld good as new and a spray with the same grey undercoat subaru use job done

    Like every body else thats a earlier version Jdm Sti not 05 and its first reg march 05???.The first reg for mine is march 05 and its a 05 Jdm with the flared rear wheel arches and how's that car classed as a uk DVLA made a mistake.
