Whens the road tax due ? Mines is OTR at the moment too, my RT was due 31/10/04 and I SORN'd the car via the normal DVLA paperwork way. Go to the post office with the road tax reminder and tick SORN, they give you a slip of paper. A week or so later you get a letter from the DVLA to confirm the said car is OTR and SORN'd. You do not need to prove anything as long as it isn't on the road IYKWIM
