    Well done for organising this night Peter :D

    I hope we can raise plenty for Santa Cruise to help bring a bit of cheer to kids in Yorkhill this Christmas.

    Glasgow/Strathclyde Santa Cruise 2008

    Sunday 14th December .

    Meet at Asda Robroyston (off M80) 10.30

    There will be prize for best decorated car so get the tinsel etc out !

    Judging (by members kids) will be at 12.00

    Move off at 12.15 on route around the city arriving at Yorkhill hospital at 13.00

    Donation sheets

    We hope all members in Glasgow/Strathclyde region will take a donation sheet around their friends , family workmates etc to help us raise money to buy toys etc to donate to the kids in Yorkhill this Christmas.

    Contact Robert (STI Pretender) via PM and he'll email donation sheet to you. These have to be returned , with monies raised , by/on the December meet to give us time for shopping trips before the event.

    Stickers

    We have white , silver and red 'SCOTTISH SCOOBIES SANTA CRUISE 2008' stickers available at £5 (all procedes to Santa Cruise ).

    These will be available at the December meet or alternatively contact myself via PM to arrange to collect them .

    Santa Cruise Charity Meal

    Friday 12th Dec 7.30pm @ Kwang Tung Chinese Restaurant - See thread in Scottish Scoobies for more details.

    We hope this years Santa Cruise will be as successful as previous years and we can brighten the day for some kids in Yorkhill hospital this Christmas :)

    Following a meeting at Yorkhill hospital yesterday , I am pleased to announce that this years Glasgow/Strathclyde region Santa Cruise will be happening on Sunday 14th December :santa:

    Donation sheets for members will be available shortly.

    as will stickers etc.

    Times , route , final arrangements etc will all be sorted out at the November meet (Thursday 6th) so , please , lets have a good turnout this month.

    Watch this space for more details as they become available .

    Glasgow/strathclyde August Meet - Help Required .

    I will be unable to host/attend the August meet as I'll be in London for a wedding .

    I would normally ask Grant (squiggle) to stand-in in my absence but I am sure he is quite busy enough organising the McRae Gathering .

    So. I'm looking for someone to volunteer to be R.O. for the night .

    Any of the 'regulars' will know the format . IE: Meet 7PM , introductions and any intimations/news , then depart at 7.30PM for a wee run somewhere.

    A route for the run will also need to be decided (Welsho suggested a good 'un at the last meet - hint-hint :) )

    Will anyone interested in helping out please let me know ASAP so that I can post the meet details in the 'events' and 'calender' sections as usual.

    Goodwood Festival Of Speed '08

    I was there last year and it was was absolutely fantastic . :)

    It was the last time I saw Colin McRae driving a Subaru Impreza . I watched him on the rally stage and on the hillclimb.

    It is probably too late to get tickets now as they usually sell-out pretty quickly .

    BUT ! the R.B. foundation were looking for members to volunteer to help out with their stand this year and I believe admission would be included :lol:

    Big Thanks To Fastone

    I bought winter wheels and tyres from fastone before Christmas .

    I'd noticed a centre missing , but as they were a bargain and just for winter I thought nothing of it.

    Last week he text me saying he'd found it in his boot and would send it through.

    Wheel centre arrived this morning , much appreciated .

    I owe you a pint for the p+p.Cheers Dale - you are a gent ;)
