  1. I'm up for this, might not watch this time tho[][]
  2. Yep, checked the wheel arches.[]
  3. If you are going from a wrx spoiler to an STI one, the STI one has 12 bolts whereas the wrx has 4. Fortunately the bolts on the sti spoiler slide out, and four of them are in the same place as the holes left by the wrx one, which makes locating it a lot easier, and you don't have to fill in the old holes. Did mine the other week[] Put some masking tape on the boot. Take out the two longer bolts that don't have holes drilled so the shorter bolts touch the masking tape when you offer up the new one. Put a dab of paint on them, offer it up again and you should have some paint left on the tape to drill your holes.Got mine from japperformance parts, and would say try to get as many bolts in the spoiler as possible. I've got two missing and Subaru say they come as part of the spoiler. Time for some ingenuity or a trip back to crawley[]
  4. You could try japperformanceparts, see thread. Other breakers include HDC Subaru and Gradea subaru. Alternatively there is a brake company calle Hi-spec in dartford, no idea on price tho. Welcome to the club.

  9. Proper little aladdin's cave down there, just got back but am up for another trip!! Handy cashpoint just up the road too[] (Now about £300 odd poorer[]) Noticed some pictures of the rally car on the wall. May have saved up some more cash by next month

  11. Got my controller in my pocket under the stereo, gauges would be a bit of a squeeze. Only fitted boost so far, didn't take long. Took the feeds for permanent live, switched live, negative and illumination off the stereo loom (the subaru to sony/kenwood/pioneer etc. bit you get from halfords then you can take it out the car connect it properly with plenty of space and no risk of short circuit and if you b#lls it up you can easily get another bit). Thats the contorller done. One wire from controller to gauge (plugs in) and one from controller to sender unit in engine bay (plugs in). Then sender unit to engine.
  12. A great day, a massive well done to Dean, Callum and all the other RO's for getting it organised. Only lost the convoy once coming out of the services before prodrive. Wouldn't have minded if I'd known where I was going[:$][:$]!! Fortunately I had about 80-90 people following me who did know[] An excellent day, proud to be a part of it.

  16. Answer always divisible by 9. All multiples of 9 have the same symbol. Multiples of 9 pop up everywhere. If you put miss a 0 off a number, the difference will be divisible by 9 (40 instead of 400, difference 360), and if you swap some figures round the same applies, 37 instead of 73 gives a difference of 36. Sure theres a rational explanation for it somewhere.

  20. Got a PPP and a few other bits fitted to mine. Insurance up about £200 max over standard. Think its safe to say the engines can take a few mods but plan well and choose a reputable tuner. Some insurance companies insre you to a bhp figure. Think of the figure you want to achieve, speak to insurance company mentioning the figure, go to tuner see whats needed. Only thing is if your engine/gearbox are getting on a bit they may not take too kindly to suddenly having 300 odd bhp put through them etc. Dont forget the brakes. Have also been told that MY00 dont like induction kits and have taken mine off, and put a panel filter in.
  21. Sick bags at the ready.......
