you should ask the question over on the MLR if they will let you, that is not sure what the story is but last time someone stuck there details up they were taken straight down by admin as they were banned or the like. like to add my boss has used them for years on his evo`s and never had aprob . as for the uppipe don`t put the sensor in just put a blank in the hole and where the sensor plugs in up next to the drivers side strut mount disconnect and place sensor in garage then stick a 2.2k ohm resistor in the plug left over this tricks ecu into thinking the cat and egt are fine. i have a load of the resistors here if you want one feel free to come get one quick edit David is right George is a **** hot mech and you will have no hassles with fitting he does.

i thought extreme were evo yes but scoobs? only ever really heard of them doing evo`s and to be honest i don`t believe John to be any good with ECU tunning on a scoob. fair enough them fitting parts but do the right thing and get the ecutek done by Andy Forrest one more important thing the uppipe with sensor? take it you mean a decatted one? and that the sensor is the egt one? if so and extreme know what they are taking about you shouldn`t fit that sensor as the increased temp in the gases will cause the cel light to come on as the car knows you have removed the cat. The dangerous bit tho is that the tip of the egt sensor in the uppipe can get too hot and is known to break off and take your turbo out if your very unlucky then shrapnel from this could take your engine too. easy fix then just member to try not drive till its done and def no boost

used a few sets on the wrx when i had it and they only lasted around 5k miles a set but never any squealling get them out and really smother the pad backings with copperslip the squealling is usually vibrations amplified so a load of copperslip dampens the vibrations and so gets rid of the squeal

get the codes read is it obd2 on my2000 or is it the wires under dash soon as you have them it will give you an idea could it be maf? try unplugging it see what its like don`t go booting it tho?

standard sti will be very quiet id go with prodrive or tsl group n something like that

no need for trip to kwickfit just jack the car up and put your front wheels on the back and go for a drive, can do if you want not driven scoob for couple months but plenty sideways in m3.

yeh it could well be the tyres swap the front to back and see what diff it makes if it starts to understeer then you know you need rid of the falkens. what model falkens are they? fk452?
