Did you not see the spread eagle marks on your bonnet - that was the mrs dragging me off. She said I was a 34yr old mess - crying, stomping and throwing a toddler tantrum. We did wait for about 10 mins, but when your shopping who knows how long people take. Never mind - atleast we got a tesco parent and child badge So we're official now. Take care mate, Marky PS - yesterday was a definite scoob withdrawal day. -
Hi mate, Saw your car sitting outside Tesco tonight. I was in the 'Parent and child parking area' right in front of you. Made me queasy getting in a diesel seeing your car Marky!

Non scooby thread - car problem - help needed
Marky-San replied to Marky-San's topic in Scottish Scoobies
Cheers guys, I knew I could count on you. I'll check the piping. Get one of those diagnostic tools from Halfords and see what it says. Might nip to my mums and pull the sensors of that car and try them - hopefully should mean I dont waste money on an unnessary sensor? Marky-San -
Folks, My little civic is idling at 2,000 revs and then starts 'hunting' between 1000 and 1800 rapidly. Forgetting its not a subaru - does anyone know what could be the problem? I know its a more general car problem. Any help appreciated. Marky PS - tried 2 Honda forums and got 2 replies but nothing specific, hence my return to the techno-people

Thanks everyone for your kind words and advice (especially the lengthy 'how to' PMs - you know who you all are LOL!!!) Just try to get everything into perspective a bit more now - sleep once a great thing is so hard to achieve - just like going to the shops LOL!! Anyway - take care folks! Marky-San

Friends and family I call SIDC. Let me share one of my finest moments on this earth with you - it may have originally taken a few seconds to do - but its the best result I'll ever get for it My fiancee gave birth on Monday morning to a gorgeous little girl called Abby. She weighed in at 7lb 1oz. Mother and baby are doing fine. A wee blondie as well, and we're both dark haired - so I'm keeping an eye on why the milkman is leaving an extra couple of pints now from free Nah, kidding - shes just like her Daddy was! Havent posted till now as I dont know what day it is, or whether its even AM or PM at times What an experience!

Another vote for battery from me. I'd also get you alternator checked in case its over or undercharging. -
spark plugs still available - reduced to £35 inc post! What a damn bargain this is!

Hi Grant, I can hold for a week for you no bother. As long as its not my bladder I dont mind at all Come on folks, HKS getridithem still for sale. Marky

Please see attached pictures that aint the best quality because they were taken by a camera phone, but they do represent each item I suppose. For the best idea of what they look like - defocus your eyes on them, then poke your good eye with a stick. Through the tears you'll see them better (please note, I did not say poke a stick at your japs ) Anyway, here are the items details: 1. HKS iridium plugs - and i want to HKS getridithem for £35. They have been used for about 2K miles. Took them off for absolutely no reason, except I was bored one day doing an oil change. These plugs a cooler in the heat of action (seemingly) and if you know your Subaru - and you clearly dont if you dont have them - well, these plugs can make you and your car seem more knowledgeable in only 10 mins fitment time. Gain respect from your peers..... and our latest marketing survey's are finding they also attract classier women friends - like a 1/2 price sale at M&S undies department. 2. Lambda sensor - 3 wire one. Be the bell of the ball with this eloquent little number. Brand new in its wrapping, you'll be the envy of all impreza owners (and their birds) by sporting this stylish yet fully functional lambda sensor. Once fitted, you can take it everywhere you drive your car. Feel content knowing that this sleek and sophisticated state of the art sensor is basically sensing something about the engine, and saving you from sticking your tongue into a hot manifold to taste the air/fuel ratio for yourself. Comes with a range of accessories including - instructions (for those awkward - 'what is that?' moment), some heat sleeves and the very latest in protection - a small poly bag holder. The cost for all this - £35 Contact via the normal avenue. Marky-San

<< Thanks Mark. Good to meet you too. I'm off out to do an oil change now! Good luck with the ATR and mini Mark. >> Cheers Ian - made me laugh - 'mini-Mark' ...heaven forbid says the bird Hope the oil change went well - no doubt catch up with you at some of the meets later in the year Right folks - checked the spark plugs and they are: HKS iridium with S401 stamped on them. Can provide a dodgy pic if anyone is interested

Yesterday (Thursday), just down the road in Kirkton campus - past Intelligent Finance. There was a very old shape Volvo estate sitting off the side of the road - white in colour and looked like it had broken down? That seems pretty innocuous, until my mate and spot the regi no. ending 'KKK', and the car has 'REDNECK' written on the rear window. The car is covered with flags and stuff - the same ones they use in the Dukes of Hazzard -cant remember its name. It was a pretty outrageous looking car for a starter - wonder what the owner would be like? Anyone see it, or seen it previously?

I now have intuition that you were the infact the Focus driver. No one else was in a rush today. I shook my head and wondered what lamp post I'd find you spread on What were you in such a rush for, when after all that I still ended up behind you - and I didnt breach 2.5K revs?
-
What were you in mate? Were you in the Warrior? I remember seeing a black 4x4 on the opposite side of a roundabout at Carfin. However, I was singing to Madonna's 'Papa dont preach' so I hope you didnt see that
