  1. I drove into my mates house - braked, slid on some leaves and went into the living room window. It didnt go down well. Same mate - drove into his driveway - it was dark and wet, in the distance saw something shiny. Thought, och its only a yellow shiny thing. Wrote my car off as I drove into the driveway post to prevent thieves nicking his dads Jag. His parents forgave me for being so thick. Drove up pavement when going to shops to park - didnt see lamp-post (old concrete one and it was raining) - caused £1200 damage to mums car. She wasnt amused - however I totally lied and said it was a 4x4 that hit and run To this day she doesnt know. Theres more - but its too embarrassing as they as completely inept accidents as opposed to proper 'brag to your mates' type ones.
  2. Saw you today - but in my Civic (as usual).
  3. I think it looks like your RB5, only with smaller wheels and no - psssst!! Your more than welcome at my place anytime mate! I like the car - only noticed one this morning on way to work and thought its pretty smart looking. As in, not the SMART car - cause its crap. Take care mate, Marky
  4. Theres an even easier way to find out the cars in your area - go round back of police station and watch them coming and going into the car park. In Motherwell we have some of the finest machinery
  5. Noble's a little peach. The EVO is really nice except for the rear lights (they suck on any car), the touring car visor on front window, and the worst part for me is the front bumper - its not nice, its not pretty. Other than that, a very nice mobile indeed.
  6. Anyone go? Have to say I wasnt too impressed with the cars on offer indoors. Some were immaculate and proper classics, however there were some that should've been in the car park - there was some storming cars sitting out there! Wee Uno Turbo that was manky - I've had 2 of these and it the owner didnt even wash it - so I wrote my name on it!! X reg Ford Escort estate mk 3 - why? It was hanging together - guff. S reg Ford Escort mk 5 - it had a shiny tailpipe and touring car sunstrip - so heavily modified then ? Escort mk 3 convertible- yellow. The paint job was shocking - the car was no better than the spitfire they rebuilt for the show! Fiesta van with an airbrush piccy - woohoo! Bring the bonnet next time, and leave the van in the car park. Overall cars could only be described as decent, but hardly show material - some were as I said proper show cars, and they made it interesting. Noticed though quite a few recent 'standard' hot hatches - whats the point of that? I could see the same at Arnold Clark. Outside was a bit better, however there were some 'classics' that as my mate said - 'people have bought a banger and brought it straight to the show' - he was looking at 2 old japs with more cracks than a crazy paving design. Other than that, the cheeseburgers were excellent and the pax laps were good. Dont think I'll be going there next year unless they scrutinise some of the entrants. Went round the corner to the 'famous cars' site (not related to the show) - and saw Knight riders 2 cars, james bonds ones, postman pats, batmobile etc... so all was not lost
