Just wanted again to say thanks mate for being brave enough to help me through my sad loss on saturday (impreza sold for those that dont know). How did he do it? He handed me the keys and let me have a shot of his spanking new Impreza. Sadly, he wasnt smiling when I hit 120 in a 30 zone before a mini roundabout and queued traffic. Never the less I manage to squeeze a 5ft 6 car though a 5 foot gap (I promise to get you new mirrors and those front seats valeted ). ......ok, ok, the truth is........ I never really went above 30mph (except once) and it was great just crusing. John was egging me on, but I didnt want the drive to end that quickly. I really really enjoyed it mate - thanks! Car is now SOLD. Hardest bit was watching her drive away. She looked and sounded MINT! Never thought I would ever need to write that Car has gone to a really nice guy - so I'm very optimistic that the future of the car is secure and looking good.

Cheers guys for the baby comments - to be honest, dont think we realise the life change we're about to experience. Its all a bit surreal - but I'll tell what is real - my car has to go, my 'time out' computer room has to go, my civic has to go. And to top it all off I have to redecorate and buy baby gear that will take over my cupboard as well. Wont change a bit of it Anyway, back to one of my tasks...... getting shot of the car to some lucky punter. Engine mileage is now around 580 since rebuild - did 100 miles today in car with no worries, actually really enjoyed the drive - checked select monitor and all clear. Glad to say I know a 100 miles doesnt sound like much, but when I've only driven 480 since July you'll catch my drift. Overall odometer reading is not 87,100 + 500 its actually 86,250 with the 500miles included - so its about 56-57K with the conversion. Engine rebuild was at 85,700 on 06-08-2004. Extra's of note for people interested ................ ft> Garage mileage odometer conversion from KM to MPH at 75,119. Immobiliser is a Meta cat II - have fitting certificate. Tracker subscription was updated in August 2004 for 1 year. Engine warranty until 06-02-2005 - transfer is not possible for this one. Unfortunately stated clearly in black and white its a personal warranty - but you'll not need it anyway[

I dont drive like a looney so its well cared for, also its been garaged since arrival in 2001 to the UK. I'll start with the niggles *************************** 2 little dents on roof, but as from pictures you'll hardly see. Usual odd parking ding. Trim paintwork is slighty flaking at edges - still ok, but just needs colour coded properly. Chrome rim on wheels have markings - from previous owner, not me. Not really noticeable unless close up. STANDARD SPEC ************* This is one of a limited edition of 100 hundred cars. Aircon. Electric windows. Electric and folding mirrors. Full STI bodykit. Large 'hoop' rear wing. Rear wash wipe. Ltd ed plaque in engine bay. STI logo embroidered into interior. Engine mechanical are larger and stronger than WRX items. Tracker Retrieve - subscription just renewed. Cat II immobiliser with certificate. MOT till June 05 (have previous MOT's) Tax - Feb 05. I will not be splitting the car mods at this stage - so the car is complete as above. £6'500 which is an excellent price for the rarity of car, mods and the full engine rebuild. (For this price the Firestorm and centre centre are not included - if you wanted these then add another £250). Alternatively, I can refit the HKS original S/S for the asking price.
