Have actually quit teaching for the moment. I am starting work for a Coporate Services company. The company runs businesses on behalf of their owners and gets paid for doing it. I got the Turbo Timer off ebay, managed to get a Blitz one for the price of the cheap ones floating around at the moment.

Got some good news today. I went for an interview this morning and got a phone call at lunchtime offering me a job. I took the job, which means I will be staying on the rock for the forseeable future.

Morning dudes. Front strut brace and Turbo timer fitted today. Had a panic with the Turbo timer, got it all fitted started working but I could not get the car to start , turns out that the immobiliser cable was not close enough to the key. Moved it and everything seems to be working now.

I was thinking about fitting a short shifter. Are they worth it? and how easy/hard are they to fit? Cheers

Morning dudes, typical, the weather is nice and I get called into work. Well suppose I am getting paid though.

Weather seems to be constantly crap when I can go out and play. My flat mate tells me it is the traditional Manx Monsoon Season which normally lasts till easter. Have not sorted the overheating prob, it only seems to happen on long drives and well, I have not been on a long drive since getting back on the Island. Hopefully no work tomorrow and I can fit my strut braces and turbo timer.

I have noticed problems with the forum aswell. But if you notice a new message and it will not display, change the page number in your browers bar. ie at the top at the mo, the address is http://bbs.sidc.co.uk/messagepost.cfm?post...parentid=540481 but if you cannot get to the next page when it appears change STARTPAGE=265 to STARTPAGE=266 This has worked for me in the past.

Hi, good to see that we made an impact. I am hoping to do some mods to my WRX and my first stop will be a decat and a new box. I am getting a friend to make one but some of the websites have very good deals at the mo. Also a replacement down pipe can add to the free flow of the gases. Hope this helps. Andy
