  1. Youtube is being a n*b again.....patience young padowan[]
  2. Couldn't resist [] ...and in the vid link the white one uses and 'engine cut' set up...NOT RECOMENDED FOR TURBO CARS as it cuts then engine then restrts it in a very fast sequence...oil flow is disrupted to the turbo and can cause all sorts of issues. The blue one in the background (I thank you) uses the traditional method of spark plug in the tailpipe....and some good techniques. Vid is on the Brighton run 3 years ago in the underground car park...security came down from the mall above as they said it sounded like someone was setting explosions off.....one of my finest hours lol.
  3. Cheers chaps...just cleaning out the track car and don't want streaky rubber all over the inside again lol.
  4. Does anyone know if there are any wheel bags left from the group buy a while ago...also if anyone has a link to a site that sells them...or has any they want to sell me I would be really gratefull [] Cheers Simon.
  5. Apologies if a re-post...but kinda impressive lol[] http://youtube.com/watch?v=qDi0MZJZ-w0
  6. Here you go...good quality kit as well [] http://www.j-w-racing.co.uk/acatalog/Orciari_Subaru.html
  7. Nice one...and welcome to the forum...a wealth of information here...just not from me []
  8. Hope it works out for you chap. Would a nice letter to scooby HQ not help any??...then if no joy with the nice letter then send the sh*ty ones []
  9. Yeah but that gets a bit boring on your own after a while Si lmao [] [] Well thank you for the offer Kim...I'll be seeing you soon to help 'beat' my boredom[] And well done to you all...one day at a time and all that[]
  10. Cheers chaps...and I hope to have some fun. First Driver day is now put back as the insurers want a certificated immobiliser (cat2) which is £120...despite it has 3 hidden kills on it and one ingenious one that will never be found lol. Picking it up tomorrow from Canterbury way...then off to Leigh on sea to try a race helmut on...then off to Loughton to pick up some genuine VW smoked bits for the Mk3 and then home........... and then to the petrol station and some more 'testing' lol.
  11. Sorry to hear this. Is the car getting sorted under insurance by an insurance approved (but not Scooby) garage? If so then can't you complain to the insurance company as the longer it's there the more it will cost them in storage, time and your sanity (they prob won't care about the latter...but we do) and by sending it to a specialist it would have this sorted quicker. Main dealers are just as bad...specialist all the way as they are there through the appreciation of the car as well as the $$$ from my experience. Put this to them and if they are asres and the time limits getting towards the 'you want compensation' limit, they might listen....also remind them you chose them and renewals and word of mouth keep them in business....we tend to forget they are providing a service to us that we pay for and to remind them of this is not a 'wrong'.
  12. Now you know how his post count is so high []
  13. Cheers buddy...might make it to CC for the spring blast...just need to get some $$$ ready as the Mk3 nees the water pump looking into...could be a hose (fingers crossed) might be the pump...but that gives me an excuse to run lil' Earni while big Earni gets fixed []
  14. Here's a link to the car at the 'Ring...only 30 laps ever under his belt and a gearbox with a problem (don't panic I've got the new one in and the repaired old one seen here as a spare)
  15. I wouldn't matter Kassam...if you sell something that is not what you advertised it as then you are responcible....accident or not.
  16. Cheers chaps...Daniel you are not wrong. I kept away from driver/track days as love them too much and my Mk3 is mint, but is set up well enough to do the job on the track...but I didn't want all the eggs in the same basket...so just so happened this was for sale...very coincidental...almost meant to be lol. Car does fly Robbie...had a test drive and it just goes and goes and goes...quite a lot of restraint needed lol. Luckily I have to collect it from the south east and go to Southsea way to get some bits for the Mk3 and then back to Reading...hope the weather is kind to me []
  17. I would suppose it would be the description on which the sale was agreed...that is he was sold a Evo2 as it was advertised Evo2. Does he still have the advert for the car with Evo2 written anywhere? If it was word of mouth then things get difficult as word against word. Get your chap to gather as much info as possible. Just a thought...what does it say on the V5?? If he saw the V5 and bought it as is then this might not help him...best bet imo is to get the advert where it stated Evo2...sale of goods act and all that.
  18. As some of you know I had an absolutely fantastic Terzo a couple of years ago, but had to sell due to house issues and also having 3 attempted car-jackings in 2 months[:@]. With my Job (child social worker) and having the Scoob as my only car and needing it for work.....the w*nkers won and the Scoob had to go. I had a few other cars and allways wanted another Scoob especially to use on a track....but due to not wanting to have the Scoob as a second car (insurance, tax and servicing for me is £1500 to keep it on the drive without using it lol) and not being able to use it as an only car for work (see above reasons) I have decided to keep with the only other brand I trust.......VW [] I currently run a Golf Mk3 tuned by Amd with some other tastefull[]mods as my daily driver.......so it was only right that I return to the roots of the Hot Hatch with this................. Specification. Bare metal ground up build 5 years ago and constantly upgraded to what it is now by a total utter Golf-mad chap called Ian who actually machined some parts to his specifications. He has turned away people as he felt they wouldn't do the car justice...so I feel honoured to have been allowed to carry on where he is leaving the car. His emigration is the only reason it was for sale. 180bhp, 154ftlb, 805kgs, 223bhp/tonne 8.51 BTG Ring, 1.26 Donny, 1.25 Bedford West (evo test track) Porka 911 (993) Turbo 126.3 to put it into perspective!! 0-60 5.9, 0-100 14.7 (gps timed with old 1.8 engine!) 2L 16v ‘abf’ Engine with flowed head and KR cams, modified air intake, 4 branch manifold with 2.5” Jetex Rally system, Baffled sump, Lightened Flywheel, Helix Clutch with HD pressure plate and sprung organic friction disc. 19. Well Done Kim...been about 9 weeks for me now and still going...but having to fight the urges when bored...just have to m*st*rb*te more to fill the time []
  20. Depends whos flaps they are don't they big boy [] I'm over your way on the 10th so if you get stuck give me a bell....let me rephrase that...a call[]
  21. Check this nutter out...see the drops!!!!! .....and you would think a sun visor wouldn't be too hard to sort out would you[]
  22. Defo a YES. When he ploughs into a wall/car/person we pay for the clean up through taxes, he will most probably have his insurance made void by this so the person/car owner will have to deal with sorting the car thamselves as the £2.50 a week the court will order him to pay won't suffice for your repairs.[:@]
