  1. The numbered plaque is on the lower part of the stereo facia, just above where it meets with the gearstck surround. To get the number you would prob have to tell Subaru the chassis number and engine number so that they could look it up for you. Reg plate mightn't be any good as the plate could have been changed.
  2. Good luck with the sale Dan...you will be 'sorely' missed by many 'members' [] As for the new car...has to be a SLK/Boxster/S2000/Mx5...something that says I have the gh3y and am proud to show it...good on you Dan!
  3. Welcome chap. Green stuff work well on some cars but do leave a lot of deposit. Black Diamond have released a new set that are fats road so might be worth a look...also Mintex are quite good iirc. Standard Scooby ones do suck so worth a check on the others...depends on what you need them for...fast road/track/general blasts etc.
  4. Happy birthday slapper [] lots of kisses on all you pink parts (that bits from Danny D)
  5. If you need to get in touch go through the contact in his profile for Trackmasters, gives phone and e-mail detalis []
  6. It has been well documented, and admitted by Prodrive that the oil pick-up and pump are one of the main reasons for number 4 cylinder going as it shares the feed with number 3 whilst 1 and 2 have thier own feeds. This has caused many documented failures. Also the fueling at prolonged high speeds has been insuficient and caused failure from running way too lean. I was looking into a P1 buying and what came up from many companies and owners was that to be sure of the engine being 'bulletproof' was a new oil pump and re-map without question. lovely cars though []
  7. Not from us two.....but congrats on the wedding and hope you both enjoy the honeymoon []

  9. I don't know about cigars...but Danny D is allways up for sticking something long, hard and a bit wrinkly in his mouth []
  10. This is worth a look...the best is last!! http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=F-Cp05u9wDY Spectators on the Leitholm stage suggested Johnson's Subaru Impreza WRC reached a height of 3.6 meters and travelled as far as 60 meters in the air before landing heavily. "I've seen the video footage of the jump" said Johnson. "I couldnt believe it when i saw it. I wasn't having a good run, so we were on a bit of a push. We hit the rev limiter just before the jump, probably at around 137mph." Both Johnson and his co-driver Stewart Merry were winded when the car hit the ground, while Johnson suffered three crushed vertebrae. "The boot and rear quarters are bent down about 6 inches, then all the shockers burst when we landed so the oil came out of the car and it went on fire" said Johnson. "But this hasn't put me off my rallying. I'm going for some massage soon and hoping to feel a lot better in a few weeks. "We've also sent someone to measure how far we actually did jump incase we've set a record. We're sure we're not that far off it. It was certainly a long jump." In February this year, Rally America Championship front-runner Ken Block set a record for the longest ever accurately recorded rally car jump after flying more than 50 metres in his Group N Subaru Impreza.
  11. If you want to do all you can to avoid it then stick to the limits...and after being 'done' for the speeds mentioned if it hasn't sunk in then should you really be driveing?? Will it take a small child to step out and you kill them for you to realise. Stick to the limits! If you want to go fast then get on a track...you could have paid for some sessions from the fines/increase in insurance.
  12. I'm not glad he looked relatively unscaithed...serves the nob right for poking a stick and antagonising something he is meant to be protecting.
  13. Will keep a look out Reading way. Keep your chin up chap.
  14. He was driving at 120 in the wet...has put a man in a wheelchair who spent 10 months recovering from a crash he didn't cause...who now has to live away from his family in a care home...and he gets the backing of the Board of Governers the Union and parents...f**cking ridiculous!! He has destroyed one life so why is his being so highly regarded?
  15. Liverpool airport was closed for four hours today after police found a suspicious car parked outside. It was taxed, insured and still had its radio []
  16. I'm all for the ban.......but I DJ'd at a rave last night and instead of the smoke being the promenant smell it was 1500 sweaty ravers B.O.!!!!...and it wasn't nice!
  17. Also....if in the boot it stays in the bag. If you put it in the footwell or behind the passengers seat...which is a much smaller area....it goes everywhere!

  22. Put the car in reverse/1st gear and drive forward for a few inches....dip the clutch and rev...car will have more surplus fuel running through and the flame will be 2-3 times as big[] ....as seen here.
