  2. To right !!!!! you know where he can put his 'cool wall' .. ....sideways!!!
  3. Hi to you all in Scoobyland, Monkey Boy here. I've been on the site for a few days and haven't posted my car specs....I became the proud owner of Terzo no54 in October and was instantly hooked on the whole scene. Since Oct I have gone and been possesed by the modification demon...you all know the one of which I speak I've had the skirts and bumper extensions colour coded, and a 3 pc lip spoiler, and a fully adjustable WRC rear wing added finishing with having jap flag number plates made up. Performance wise..group N mid section and rear box, Green filter, and a Turbosmart bov. I also have a E-teck upper strut brace. On Monday I'm of to TSL to get a group A downpipe, Forged drop links with Powerflex bushes, an E-tech rear strut brace and TSL's fast road geometry set up....It's like Christmass all over again. I'm trying to source a pair of 4pots to help the stoping and thats the lot...it is....honest......until the voice of the modification demon starts again I used to have a porshe engined type 3 VW and the club scene there was exellent....by what I've seen on this site, looks like it could be some serious fun.
  4. I wouldnt worry about it. In the last series he slated anyone who did any mods to thier Scoobys.....shows what he knows about this area
  5. Welcome Scoobymad u r right...this is a good site. I've only been on 4 a few days and been given loads of advice and help.
  6. The same thing happened to me at Tesco in Reading, parked in a section of what must have been 30-40 empty spaces around me. Came out to find a Mondeo....sorry for using the F*rd word...parked next to me and behold!! a nice scratch with funnily enough the same candy red as the mondeo. I went in and asked for an announcement to be put out for the owner, saying his car had been pranged and I had the plate of the car before it had sped off. The owner was so happy to see me, as it was a company car and he didnt want to end up in sh!t. His face was priceless when we got back to the cars, security blokes from the store as well, when I launched into my 'I'ts w***ers like you who make our lives hell' speach. Luckily he could do nothing less than 'fess up and I got it paid for as long as I didn't involve his work. Triumph through superior extorsion....or just shoot them You could always post the plate details and see if they can be traced by your SIDC bretheren...u never know...chin up matey
  7. I've got a TSL group N mid section and back box at present, Looks sooo much better up close than on the web site. Luurrrverly low burble at idle and opens up to a fantastic roar. It is also legal on track days, a lot of the afore mentioned boxes are too loud and therefore you can't use them on track days. I'm off to get the group A downpipe on Monday................Hello my name is Monkey Boy and I'm a modification-a-holic....one day at a time bruv It's alldown to individual taste at the end of the day.
  8. You could wheelie the scooby with me in the back.....20 stone of pure love.....
  9. I used to use ultimate as was recomended by the previouse owner, got stumped and had to use optimax..... I've never looked back. I Drive a uk 98 Terzo and the difference is noticable if you use it regularly. Monkey Boy likes the fumes tooooooooooooooo
  10. She is only using her arms to steady herself, the lift comes from the after effect of a night out in the Standard Tandori and a few pints of northern beer...none of this southern shandy lark mind you!!!!
  11. so sayeth the shepherd!!!! sound system bangers driven by geezers called Daz and Leon, who, at last have found something better to spend thier glue-sniffing money on Long story involving a red Nova, a lampost, and a guy called Daz with no insurance..
  12. You can tell she's a classy bird...the tattoos are spelt correctly Just don't ask how I know!!!!! (mind you, she don't sweat much for a fat lass)
  13. Turbosmart do a good range to suit all tastes including hand adjustable ones, this allows you to keep the same valve if you keep modifying as the pressure the spring releases is set up by you. TSL do the full range and will fit it for a minimal cost...money grabbing greased up.... only kidding Gavin, Chris The model I've got is just louder than the standard unit under normal driving, ie 15mph around Reading, but put the hammer down and the sound is awesome!!!!! PS the main reason I got one was to help prolong the turbos' life.....naaaaa...they sound sooo good
  14. If you speak to Chriss at Roger Clarke Motorsport hr can offer you three choices: 1.BRAND NEW STI 4 POTS..goodrige hoses, cheaper discs and pads fitted for £750 all in. 2. As above but with genuine Subaru discs and pads for £800 all in. 3. As above but with high performance discs and pads for £850 all in. I got offered these prices last week so I'm sure he will still honour them.....if not just tell him the Monkey Boy will visit him Hope this helps.
  15. There is a really good franchise called Protec...dont know if they do your area but would be worth a look. They can hook up your existing system to a cat1 or whatever you are having installed. They come to you at home or work, and the work they did for me was exellent, and they beat the nearest quote by £45 Hope this helps.
  16. If you have one of the illustriouse 'Gasoline Alley' franchises up norf then they will make up these plates for a loverly £16.99, and you can have an assortment of backgrounds and letter types as long as you sign a disclaimer to say that the plates are purely for show purpose. I have a mini motorcycle plate on the front of mine with a jap flag on it, and the only time I've been stoped was by a County car where the officer who wanted to quiz me on the performance, as he wanted one after seeing one used as a fast responce car on a BBC1 programme the night before
