    I was in Florida for Valentines last year and bought the wife a really nice one in Wallmart.

    I took it bac to the Villa and hid it in the garage.

    Unfortunately, it must have had a leak, as on the morning the balloon had deflated and the bear looked like some sort of Gremlin covered in afterbirth.

    Don't let me put you off the idea though! :lol:

    If this is going to be your only source of earnings its possible that the Revenue will not accept that you are self-employed. Have a look at http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/pdfs/ir56.htm#2. which gives some pretty good advise as to whether you are employed or self-employed.

    Yup the tax office have loads of rules to ensure that you pay employersNI, if you are the boss.

    If you can invoice for each car you do, you may be able to sidestep the above. The best advice is a good accountant.

    I was in a mondeo Hol so you wouldn't have noticed me. I've just started a new project in Lewes and have got a diesel for the travelling.

    Noticed the scoob pulling over behind me and then noticed the plate :stupid:

    Ill be gawking at all the Mondeos now. :rotfl:

    I have just started a new contract in Surrey, hence the Forester. So I might see you again.

    Petrol Smell

    Well it definitely sounds like you have a leak, can you park the car up for a while and see if you get any pools of petrol on the ground

    You could also have a sensor out and the car is burning more petrol. But it seem too excessive for that.

    If you do not find a leak, try a fault code check.

    Spotted Hol, yesterday morning behind me on the M25 from near J5 till I pulled over for the M23 :)

    What were you in? It would have been early so I would have been asleep? You may see me in the black Forester most days.

    I started a new contract in Surry on Monday and have already met one other SIDC member at work!! :P

    It wont hurt to give them a call and discus options. (Complete engine/short engine etc).

    If not there was a guy on SN who got an engine rebuild in Rainham Kent quire reasonable (under 2K). Chrspurvis100 or somethinkg like that?

    The car does not have any diff controls and according to the Vin plate codes it is a WRX Type RA LTD edition. The car has the Ej20 egine 276BHP engine in there. Engine code is EJ207DW1KE.

    Thats fine,

    Your car is actually a rare car, with the lower WRX specification.

    Its a non STI, which means that you can fit any WRX or STI (effectively an upgrade) Phase 1 engine of the same type..

    Should be loads of these around.
