Im after a rear roll bar from a Classic impreza to tighten the roll on the Forester.

Before I go off looking far and wide, has anyone local replcaed theirs with an aftermarket one?

I need the STI and the Forester wheels done.

They did a great job Black Chroming my old P1 wheels.

It was loud enough when I followed you off Blue Bell Hill the other week, when the traffic was gridlocked.

You might not have noticed though I was driving the stealth black Forester.

You went off left to Aylesford and I went right to BBH Village.

Lady HOL has just informed me that the white lines are being painted under the M20 cameras between A228 and A229 today.

I wont be surprised to find the Camera Signs up as well before long, so keep the speed down.

They look to be the same as the M25 cameras and so may not snap you unless they are ‘switched on’, but you never know. Personally, im going to wait and see if anyone is flashed before testing that premise!

On a lighter note our friendly local camera partnership are offering free ‘Back Off – I am not speeding’ stickers to everyone.

It might be amusing to stick on the back window.

I think that if you follow granby model of vf turbo and sti top mount with remap for 300.

Granby, can you rember if you hit 300 at that stage? And did you need bigger injectors before 300?

The sti top mount is only good to 380bhp on 2.0, unless you have some formof trick hybrid. At which point ithink you want bigger anyway.

If 300 is your limit, then I think subarus parts bin is the easiest.

There's one in Walderslade Village. Never been there myself, but its supposed to be alrigh.

i normally use the vets on walderslade road too, but i had an animal registered at the one in snodland so i took it there.

I lived in the village and off Chestnut for years, moved around for 5 years and im now at up the back of Lordswood.

The car is going up for sale soon, (as soon as my current paymasters decide my contract renewall) so if you want a passenger ride, that can be arranged.

lovely car Hol, i was on the way back from the vets in snodland quite sad after spending £70s out when i saw you on the m20. im sorry i didnt come off motorway with you, i normally go straight on as i live near the fitness first gym.

i was pretty shocked when you hit the accelerator, i did at the same time but it was as if i had just stopped still mines a WRX with PPP.

You'll actually find me knocking on the door of that Gym most Saturday or Sunday mornings.

Talking of Vets I use the one on Walderslade Road.

It does pull quite strong uphill (and I was in Sixth), but you should see it go round corners Those AST's are fabulous, (although I have gone through 3 wheel bearings in 15k miles ).

Hello to the Blue Blobeye (WRX I think as it had Foglamps) who followed me (but not too close ) from the M20 and up BBH.

He followed me so much I thought he was turning off with me and I was looking for bigger gap to pull over to the M2. I turn to look and he's carried on down the road.

Its the same car. 555CCC - Its actually Silver.

It is the demo vehicle for Waldonways. he had the clubs in the boot when I test drove it.

He's not the owner, as for as I know. (I have his card at home).

I just wanted to add my name to the roll call in thanks to Deano, who completed a mahooosive service on the Forester Yesterday.

The whole prospect was made easy by the fact that Dean was able to do it all whilst I was at work. Being paid by the day, it save me a fair wadge of dosh.

There is nothing special about that SpecC, apart from the rare colour. I would not say it is worth the value of a newer WR1 (Yours is probably worth that money).

I can see why he would want to swap, yours will be a lot easier to sell .I think SpecC57 let his go for less than £14k??

I think if you were to straight swap, it would be for a newer Hawkeye 2005 Spec C.

Mine is up for sale shortly, if you wanted something special that would easily spank a Ecutec’d SpecC across the performance board. (Or any non-Garrett Impreza out there).

Even if the P1 IS mint, I think it should be closer to 5 k your way!

Yours must be worth 15k. I have seen many p1 struggle to sell at 10k, and those with mods and no map are the ones that have engines go at 45k.

They are only an STI five map with higher knock control, after all.

saw hol in his car bout 5-30ish on m25, i was in van, i slowed down so he could catch up with me sounded great & looked great, i had to let him past as my van wasnt performing as well as his car

When you got caught after clacketts I slowed down to 65 on the m26 to see if you would catch up.

The thing was that everyone was sitting on the inside lane behind methinking I knew something they didn't! I hit the m20 in the same place!!!

Im looking to either replace the STI. the Forester Turbo or the wifes Clio 182 (megane 225) with my nice fat company dividend in April.

For £25k, it thought it was a nice drive, but woefully less exciting than my current Impreza (100bhp less afterall). Still, with a few tweeks and a remap, I recon it could be a stunning daily driver. It was not revvy though.

The guy taking me for a demo was amused when I flashed and waved!!
