SCOOBY LIBERATION FRONT Thats what SLF means guys. It was banded about a while back because of the same reasons as now CLIQUES. Some people wanted to go and do their own thing and this was the chosen name. I myself banded it about for a laff even Dougster had a pop at me wanting to know how i became the self appointed liberator as he put it. Nothing came of it it was a laff. However i know who brought it up again so please ignore it. As for in house cliques,back stabbing etc etc yes it is time it stopped. But how do we do that? Answers on this thread please. Billy

I think the guy you are talking about lives in Burnside.Thats the only WR1 in the south side. He was supposed to go to Glasgow meet last week.

Three regional meetings have took place this week and the main topic is Santa Cruise. Last year's cruise was an overwhelming success and those who took part got a good buzz from doing it. This year however it doesnt seem to be taking off at all,not only in Scotland but down south as well. So far we have nearly £1000 with some other cash still to come in. I will also be phoning Yorkhill this week to arrange what time,car parking etc. Last year i posted because my nephew was born with some of his organs outside his body and spent the first 6 months of his life in Yorkhill. Hes now three but on Wednesday of this week he faces major surgery to put his organs back in.Its a worrying time for us all. All iam asking for is donations of presents and not money. I would like to thank all of you who came along to the meeting tonight. Good to see some new faces. A lot of things were discussed and hopefully come to fruition next year. The main topic was Santa Cruise and once again can i ask you for donations of pressies. To date we have £973.28 which is a good amount of money with more to come. All Glasgow meets will now take place at the one venue on the first Thursday of each month at BREWERS FAYRE IN STEPPS Iwill be phoning them to advise them of this. A second meet will be taking place this month to make final arrangements for Santa Cruise. A decision has not been taken yet whether to have a meet in December due to Christmas and all that.
