We had our 6 monthly visit from VOSA in work during the week to check our mot station. Very soon traffic cars and roadside checkpoints will be equipped with decimeters. In effect if your exhaust is too noisy you will more than likely be fined,endorsed,your car will be towed away and it will cost you a fortune to get it back. Prohibition notices are also being served for tinted windows which means you have to fork out to get the tints removed,you have to pay for a full mot regardless of the cars age plus the fine and points of course. They are about to clampdown hard on modified motors. Happy Motoring

We have customers who have bought cars from Motorpoint and they too dont have any warranty because they are not registered on VW'S system.Also their isnt any corrosion warranty. Buyer Beware.

All plastic guards are to aid the flow of air under the car in other words aerodynamics. Mine has got two huge plastic trays up each side as well to smooth the flow of air under the car. Here endeth todays lesson in useless information.

People, The week after Knockhill all day trackday i would like to propose an outing on the Saturday of my choice. A wee SEDATE run down the Solway coastline which will include motorway,side road and bar food and a cuppa afterwards. Please pm with interest as i wish to avoid uninvited attention. Meet maybe about 1pm.Arrive at destination,give cars time to cool down and have a chinwag. Then onto pre booked hotel for bar supper,back outside move down the road about 200yds.Free tea and coffee supplied by myself and Jean,have a laff then a run home ending at Bothwell services to make sure everyone is safe and accounted for. This is a chance for some of us to get together before the dark nights and Christmas.Speaking of which i need some pressies for Yorkhill along with the cash i have raised.I will be presenting a cheque for same so that they can put the money to what ever they want. If this run goes ahead and PLEASE try to be there anybody acting like an arse will be sent off and will not be welcome at any other runs.Im sure you understand.SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT. Bar meals cost approx £6 per person.There is also a childrens menu available,this is a family outing also. Please come along and have a good time. Thanks in advance Billy and Jean

18 mpg here too. Best i ever got was 24 mpg in my classic.Got bored welly down 18 mpg.

V o s a are clamping down on tinted windows and even going round garages putting prohibition notices on cars for sale with tinted windows. Crap i know but its a lot of hassle.
