When i was the Mcrae stages i shot a video of Richard Hill rolling his MKII Escort so i when i got home slaped on youtube, and it was doing ok i started to forget about it then i got a email from some TV company, as follows ........ Hi, I am producing the Scottish Rally Championship 2008 TV coverage which will be shown on BBC Scotland. I was wondering if you would allow us to use your footage of the Richard Hill's crash on Stage 3 (Drummond Hill) in our round-up programme. I can offer you £50 for this but would need the best quality you can give me, preferably on mini-dv or whatever it was shot on. We are editing at the moment so if you agreed would need it in next couple of days. So i got back to them, and got the clip sent off then the following day i got this email ......... Hi Jon, Got that through and we've already edited into the programme - it looks great, so thanks for doing that so quickly, I really appreciate it. It goes well with a shot we have of him driving away from the scene in a beat up car! Please give me your address so I can send through the cheque. Thanks again and it will be broadcast on BBC2, 2nd Novemebr at 18:10-19:00. Cheers, Didnt even know this programe was going to be on, SKY+ at the ready !!

Me and my mate quickly stoped at the 9am rv point then headed up to Griffin, and got a cracking spot. We had a great day and seen every car The piks i took are a bit crap, but i did film somthing good, will post up soon ........
