  1. Black and red will go well together.
  2. The car is looking great. I bet it felt faster out on its first run for a while.
  3. Ken Block was driving it . . .
  4. Haha, if i had been caught speeding Paul, i would certainly save plenty over the next year or so. The prices are crazy.
  5. I just went for V Power . . . . . FML
  6. Im just looking to tidy the car up, going to get the front end resprayed. And the dreaded rust has set in to one of the rear arches, its got so bad recently that the last clip for the bumper wont fix in place, leaving the bumper hanging down, looks horrible so it will be getting sorted asap. I really want a decent set of mats for the car, it really lets the interior down, wanted the original Prodrive ones but keep missing out when they come up for sale (and dont get me started on the prodrive/sparco seats haha) I bought some rear Brembo calipers for it and going to get them powdercoated to match the front Alcons. Only other thing thats in my head is new ARB's and geometry set up. Hopefully after that i will leave it alone.
  7. Are the classic to newage downpipes totally different? Ive still got the one off my P1.

  10. Car Sold and heading to Belgium
  11. Third party test drive?
  12. I got mixed up with this car and the EMB car, it began as a fire damaged car, stolen recovered is no biggy really. Even buying a bugeye, then getting all the work done to bring it up to this spec would cost a lot more, buy it buy it buy it!
  13. I really like this car. Being a cat D wouldnt bother me in the slightest, you can see the amount of work that has gone into the car in the thread, it will be absolutely spot on, even if you came to sell it and anyone interested was worrying about it on cat D, the thread will always be there to read. I wonder how much it would cost to build another like it, would be much more than the asking price, much much more. Its all custom steel panels aswell, its a bargain! i dont think it will be for sale very long.
  14. Ive got DS2500 on my car, i think they work very well. Give Alyn at AS performance a call http://asperformance.com/contact/ He will sort you out and is brilliant to deal with over the phone, giving good advice.
  15. Congratulations! Very well done.
  16. Good video. The guy has a 'sensor in the poo poo' haha
  17. Looks a lovely example. Whats the plans for this one then? Staying standard, few mods perhaps? No doubt you will have a few thoughts in your head.
  18. Pretty much how you said it Frank. Thats what Steve told me to do. Through the gears off boost, using the gearbox plenty. Running in oil for 200, drop it, same kind of oil again upto 700-750 then its ready for good oil and mapping. I kept watching the miles and getting to 750 took forever, done 990 miles now, those miles were a lot quicker haha. Ready for mapping once front mount is finished, car is on the driveway looking sorry for itself again.
  19. Here is my mates mirrors from the Japspeed group buy
  20. I was given the shell drivers card when i went in. When i went to register it online i saw the v power card, so the next time i was filling up i went in and said i wanted one of them instead, the girl serving said i have to build up points on the drivers card first then shell invite you into the v power club or something like that, is this true?
  21. Scary pictures, glad everyone is ok
  22. Thats one side done. Can you tell im happy about this haha
  23. Here is what i was heating and picking off This is the side ive been doing and ten mins with the wheel
  24. Im working on a civic that ive bought to sell on. It had door protectors all the way along the side, three strips of rubber sticky sikaflex all along the door and rear quarter. I had been at it with a hairdryer, heating it up and peeling off. I knew it was going to take hours to do. A friend who is a panel beater told me to get a toffee wheel to take it off. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Automotive-Toffee-Whizzy-Stripe-Removal-Wheel-/350329202253?pt=UK_Body_Shop_Supplies_Paint&hash=item51913f664d Ive been at it ten minutes and nearly got all of one side of the car done, its a brilliant tool. Go down to your local bodyshop and they will have that off your car in seconds. Very happy. This will take half an hour and after all the hard work, ive earned the right to go for a pint
  25. Only heard about this a couple of hours ago. R.I.P
