  1. Looks a lovely example. Whats the plans for this one then? Staying standard, few mods perhaps? No doubt you will have a few thoughts in your head.
  2. Pretty much how you said it Frank. Thats what Steve told me to do. Through the gears off boost, using the gearbox plenty. Running in oil for 200, drop it, same kind of oil again upto 700-750 then its ready for good oil and mapping. I kept watching the miles and getting to 750 took forever, done 990 miles now, those miles were a lot quicker haha. Ready for mapping once front mount is finished, car is on the driveway looking sorry for itself again.
  3. Here is my mates mirrors from the Japspeed group buy
  4. I was given the shell drivers card when i went in. When i went to register it online i saw the v power card, so the next time i was filling up i went in and said i wanted one of them instead, the girl serving said i have to build up points on the drivers card first then shell invite you into the v power club or something like that, is this true?
  5. Thats one side done. Can you tell im happy about this haha
  6. Here is what i was heating and picking off This is the side ive been doing and ten mins with the wheel
  7. Im working on a civic that ive bought to sell on. It had door protectors all the way along the side, three strips of rubber sticky sikaflex all along the door and rear quarter. I had been at it with a hairdryer, heating it up and peeling off. I knew it was going to take hours to do. A friend who is a panel beater told me to get a toffee wheel to take it off. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Automotive-Toffee-Whizzy-Stripe-Removal-Wheel-/350329202253?pt=UK_Body_Shop_Supplies_Paint&hash=item51913f664d Ive been at it ten minutes and nearly got all of one side of the car done, its a brilliant tool. Go down to your local bodyshop and they will have that off your car in seconds. Very happy. This will take half an hour and after all the hard work, ive earned the right to go for a pint
  8. Only heard about this a couple of hours ago. R.I.P
  9. Thanks for the comments guys. A friend edited the pictures for me, im useless with photos. Ive wanted a black and white with car in colour for a while now, i think it was jcscoob that took one of his P1 like that and it looked brilliant. Im sure one of the photo people on here can tell you how its done.
  10. Cheers for the comments. The McRae is number 127, it has a couple of door dings but other than that its in brilliant condition. Got a call earlier Frank, engine mounts are done, just heading to pick the car up, just the front mount to go on and its about ready for mapping. The pictures are decieving, the car was pretty grubby from the run down, hopefully get some decent weather at the weekend to give it a good clean. Cheers Dan
  11. That could be a bad thing for your wallet haha, it will probably have set the cogs in motion. As long as the weather holds out we will take a run up in the afternoon. Only 12miles or so from us. Yes, defo give us a shout the next event your heading to, one of my mates is a keen amateur photographer so should get some brilliant pictures. Cheers Dan
  12. Hi Wulsey, it was Sunday we were down, we were there for a few hours but mostly out of town, Michael had put the car indoors at his work. Yes it was the chippie at the town hall, needed refueled before heading up the road and on to Glasgow for a night out
  13. Cheers Kosy, i thought that when you posted the pictures of your car up. Would be good to get some pictures of the two of them together, perhaps up at Knockhill sometime. The car is run in now, actually done 850 miles now, getting Hardrace engine mounts fitted tomorrow and have a hybrid front mount (hopefully soon) to fit before it goes for mapping.
  14. Thanks for the comments guys, im really happy for Tommy with the car he got. I was really surprised with the interior, it is immaculate inside, the Recaros are spotless and just like new. I think we are heading up to Kames on Sunday afternoon if any of you are heading up.
  15. It is a brilliant road, we had a good run back home, hardly met any other cars, was really good just the 2 classics burbling along. Im surprised you didnt spot us down there, we were kicking about for a while, parked outside a good chippie
  16. Dam it, i meant for those to appear on the forum
  17. Some of you may have noticed i had put a wanted ad about a Series McRae up on here. Well at the weekend my friend Tommy and I went down to Newton Stewart to view a car and he ended up buying it. On the road down we had spotted a place that we thought would be perfect for pictures, so on the road back we grabbed some (not many, light was fading and we needed home). will get better pics of the cars soon. http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w255/ad.../Untitled-1.jpg http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w255/ad.../Untitled-2.jpg http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w255/ad.../Untitled-5.jpg http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w255/ad.../Untitled-6.jpg http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w255/ad.../Untitled-4.jpg http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w255/ad.../Untitled-3.jpg

  20. Here is a few pics of my old Terzo with those mirrors from flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/94727509@N00/62881096/
  21. The top ones are similar to the ones fitted on my car Frank. I got mine off ebay second hand but im sure those top ones are the same set i had on my Terzo. Slightly better fit and the mirrors are easy to see out of. The ones i have the mirrors dont give a clear view, nevermind tho, they look good
  22. Here is the link http://bbs.scoobynet.com/group-buys-356/84...re-mirrors.html
