scientific steve replied to SCOOBYD00's topic in Scottish Scoobies
the track day we had in june i was able to get a 63.3 and this was timed with me mates camcorder just left the thing set up and taped me going round and round, only thought about lap times after seeing the counter at the bottom of the screen to say i was chuffed is an understatement -
yep, fair point

having owned a M3 Evo before i bought the scoob i have to agree with the others, can be quite interesting in the wet oh, and also consider getting a small runabout for the winter if you do get one cause it wont be going anyplace in the snow trust me on that one, the m3 evo dont have any traction control !!!!!!! dont get me wrong i loved the m3, i had the 4 door one and found it was fantastic, it was a hoot on the back roads and brill on the motorways and at the end of a long trip it was very kind to your spine and backside yes the scoob will kick it's tail but i still hanker for the way bmw get the little things right just my 2 pence worth

steve here have had a few "sports" cars over the years the first with 4 wheel drive was a celica GT4 and loved the planted feeling of it, you just knew that flooring it round a corner you were pretty safe (to a point) and hankered after that safeness after having a couple of beemers the last one boing a M3 evo, fare enough it is a fantastic car and all but it could bite now i am in love with me MY98 type R with a full Magnex system, whiteline droplinks, mintex pads and discs, braided hoses and living in scotland plenty of fun roads 1.
